1ºInteresting. I knew a woman who had this. Around age 30 it began to cause undescribable pain in her abdomen which is when they discovered she was flip-flopped. It took almost a year to figure it out by the way.....and I drove her to at least two trips to the ER. I don't think it was in her chest area though otherwise the Army would have figured it out before then (I hope at least) by not hearing the heart where it was supposed to be. Anyway, I'd already left and come back from training for a year and heard they had had to do surgery to flip everything around in her abdomin. I never did hear the whole story or whether it worked to fix what had been happening to her.
