And from that financial surplus, We were able to fend off The Nazis and Japanese, Initiate The Social Security And Unemployment Insurance Act of 1935. President Eisenhower was able to implement The Federal Highway and Defense Act of 1956. Kennedy was able to fund our Space Programs which led to our landing on the moon. Eisenhower was also able to fund The Public Education Funding Act of 1958, which made America first in education, technology, and manufacturing. We are no longer that, are we? And nobody ever called THEM “communist”. And the republicans want to promote “Charter Schools”? Which has proven 90% of their graduates can’t pass an A.CT. or an S.A.T. ? That is insane.
