2ºAs I thought, Chuck, you have no idea what the Second Amendment actually says. At NO TIME in US history has "shall not be infringed" been ruled by ANY US court to mean "shall not be regulated".
Many confused Americans, many of them conservative Republicans, seem to think that the Second Amendment reads, "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed". But it doesn't, it reads, "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, (COMMA) shall not be infringed". That comma means that "shall not be infringed” applies to the entire text of the Second Amendment, not simply the 10 words that precede it as conservatives seem to believe. Please stop trying to infringe on the Second Amendment right of Americans to see that arms are well regulated.

In the 2008 Heller ruling conservative Justice Antonin Scalia said the following: "Like most rights, the Second Amendment right is not unlimited. It is not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose.”

Individuals who refused to swear such an oath were disarmed. Both the Heller and Bruen rulings say if it comes directly from American colonial history, it's Constitutional! Let's do that again!

The term “well regulated” in the 2nd amendment actually encompasses both meanings of the term “well regulated”. Well-regulated as one might consider a clock to be, and also well-regulated” as one might think of in a legal framework. “Well regulated” meant that State militias were to be well trained, as in they were to gather together and practice, drill, etc., on a regular basis, and that training was to be supervised by the States in that the States were to appoint officers who were to oversee that training. This was the clock-like aspect of "well regulated".
But at the same time, “well regulated” also referred to the lawful power the Congress' Federal Authority, which was comprised, after all, of representatives of the States, was to have over the State militias, that is, Congress was to create and enact a system of rules governing the conduct and/or activity of said militias and their weapons (which after the Revolutionary War period were often kept locked up in state armories until needed) as well as the legal authority representing the Federal government the President would have over them when acting as Commander-in-Chief.

A Texas elementary school teacher is out of a job after she posted “racist” statements on social media that included complaints about her sister dating a white man, according to the school system and reports.
The Mesquite Independent School District said in a statement Tuesday the teacher, who is black, was no longer with the school after officials became aware of “alarming, racist” posts she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“As of this morning, the employee is no longer a part of the Mesquite ISD organization and is not eligible for rehire,” the school system said in a statement, adding officials can’t say more because it’s a personnel matter.

The teacher wrote she was upset her sister was dating a white man and joked that she asked her boyfriend to kill him, according to posts reviewed by the Dallas Morning News.
“I enjoy being a racist,” she reportedly wrote in one post. “I’m never changing.”

In other posts, she used derogatory words for white people, the newspaper reported.
The teacher — who used the social media name Claire Kyle — has deleted her account from the social media platform. The account name appeared to be an alias.
The teacher called herself a “Black Supremacist” in her social media account bio and hinted that her job knew about the posts before she lost her job, CBS Austin reported.
