Amid the ash of Lahaina, aid and anger are spreading

Maui’s working class have become do-it-yourself first responders and cul-de-sac commanders, but the famous “aloha spirit” is being strained.

I sign in everyday. The problem I have with CNN is, and all the major websites such as Facebook and Twitter etc, is that once you get past the 4th of 5th story You're hit by a bombard of phony scheming scamming outright thievery and lies from advertisers . You all know what I'm talking about. Let's take for example. the car insurance scam. If you have your cell phone and in Arizona a ad pops up and says Arizona has enacted new laws on drivers who drive fewer miles. If you take that same cell phone and move it to Pennsylvania you get the same ad only it says Pennsylvania has passed the same laws. This is a complete lie, none of these states have done that. This is just another example of the disgraceful clickbait used by these advertisers. What really happens if you answer their ad is you get 4,000 phone calls from insurance agents. The advertiser is simply selling your name number and address to the insurance companies. This is just one small examples of the lying and misdirection that's going on in CNN and many other websites. But the major media companies don't seem to care. It's almost like Trump was running them. The idea of telling the truth, being moral in this country today is 40 times less than it was 7 years ago. No one seems to care about the truth anymore .
