1ºWhat hate did this child get raised with to take this action?? I am all for responsible adults having guns for many reasons. I myself have made a personal choice not to have a gun solely for this reason. I have children in my home.. I feel bad for this mother as I am sure she had the gun for protection. What concerns me more is who installed in this child's mind something like this would even be an option? I don't believe she belongs in jail or is guilty of neglect unless she either encouraged the boys actions through hate talk against the teacher or told the boy to take the gun . Admirable that she pleaded guilty however she might not be the real problem that created this event.. someone made this boy feel like this was ok and I doubt it was mom.. or at least I hope it wasn't..
