In response to these tragedies, it is important that we take action to ensure that similar events do not happen again. However, as you said, the NRA and some Republicans refuse to pass gun control reform. This is a complex issue involving multiple interests and positions, including individual liberty rights, constitutional interpretation, and more. Nonetheless, justice and safety should be supreme values, and we should continue to work to press the relevant parties to take steps to ensure public safety.

We need to stop the free pass and reward of “thoughts and prayers” of these gun owner’s callous disregard of the consequences of accidental and deliberate tragedies their unlocked guns and ammo result in. So many school shootings and domestic tragedies and these gun owners are not facing criminal consequences or laws protecting people from these gun owners . Most states have no laws making these amoral gun owners accountable for inadequately unlocked guns and ammo. It’s crazy.
