1ºThe concern here should be just the innocent children, elderly and other non combatants on both sides who are dying because of this almost 80-year long conflict. Hamas launching this attack is just the act of terrorists, but Israel has a long record of using disproportionate force against Palestine, and there are elements on both sides who just want the extermination of the other. I'm not sure there's a fight for freedom here, there is oppression on both sides. For me it's disappointing that too few people are talking about the terrible losses on both sides here. War never targets just the soldiers, it's the normal people who suffer most and do most of the dying.
2ºHamas doesn't discriminate in their killing. Civilian men, women, and children are legitimate targets. This is where they made their mistake.
War is between military armies, not with civilians. The world draws a distinction. Why do you think Putin's army is having such a tough time in the Ukraine? Russia attacked and killed civilians indiscriminately. This united the Ukraines and they found new allies willing to support their cause.
Israel will totally eradicate Hamas and the people of Gaza will pay the price whether they are innocent or not.
No need for peace when Hamas and its people are eradicated.
3ºIsrael bombs civilians, without prior warning to them. There are no shelters to protect them. Children are left in pieces under the rubble. They bomb ambulances, hospitals, journalists, mosques, churches, universities, and schools. Israel takes Palestinian prisoners, including children and women, who are tortured and placed in solitary confinement for many years, until the end of their lives. On the other hand, when Hamas took hostages, it provided them with full protection and did not approach civilians, especially women and children. Before it was bombed, it sent a warning to Israeli citizens. The real terrorist is the one who bombs innocent people without the slightest protection for them.
4ºCould it be possible, that this "war" is a false flag, since Israel was completely passive for almost 9 hours, no air or troops, Gaza division "stand down", dangling their own citizens as bait, is but an awaited excuse, and the real agenda is war with Iran, who fund terrorists ?? Has anyone thought about the stupidity of the Hamas attack, if that was the only thing they had in mind !? 5ºBill Fede what I think you are failing to realize is for decades Israel has been trying to make peace. The Israeli Jewish people are more than happy to live side by side with Muslims all they ask is that the Muslims do not kill them. The Muslims/Palestinians on the other hand are not willing to live in peace with the Jews and want them all dead or gone from Israel. You see if Palestine puts their weapons down there will be peace if Isreal puts their weapons down there will be genocide. I don't see why people have such a hard time seeing who has the moral high ground on this issue.

7ºPROPOSED SWIFT SOLUTION:
Hamas is threatening to execute (on TV and Social Media) each of the many Israeli hostages that Hamas kidnapped from Israel, if Israel does not stop bombing Hamas buildings and other Hamas targets.
Everyone knows that Israel makes every effort to not harm peaceful Palestinian civilians and is only interested in stopping Hamas terrorists from bombing Israel.
Everyone also knows that Hamas has been using all of the Palestinians in Gaza as 'Human Shields' and they don't give a damn about the Palestinians who are killed as Israel is given no choice but to stop Hamas from bombing Israel.
I suggest that Israel inform all Palestinians that they will be given 24 hours to capture (dead or alive) all Hamas terrorists and turn them over to Israel. Otherwise, Israel will have no choice but to obliterate Hamas, who does not give a damn if Palestinian children are killed in the process.
