1ºOfficial investigations conducted about this incident determined that something like 39 people died. Of those, about a third of them were white. It was a horrible situation, no doubt about that. But it is just not accurate to continue stating that "hundreds" and even thousands of people, and blacks only at that, perished. Another claim that has been debunked is the police used airplanes to 'bomb and strafe' black residents and homes and businesses. It didn't happen. But truth and facts don't serve the Democrats narrative, especially when it comes to matters involving race. One more time, terrible things happened that comprise this incident. But not in the numbers stated by some.
