Jon no one is qualified to do ATC until they train and actually do it. There is nothing that can be taught in a school that remotely resembles what real ATC does every day. Prior to 2018 individuals were hired off the street with out “education” or experience. The process changed to remove “educated” individuals preference after the preference proved to not produce ATC at a quicker rate.

Lmao, now the personal attacks. Nope fortunately for me I was not a diversity hire I was hired under an experienced bid. Meaning I was already certified, qualified and capable of doing the job prior to my hiring.

Again, you can speculate all you want. I know what is happening day in and day out. Every gender, race and age group in ATC makes mistakes. It’s how we react to those mistakes that differentiates good vs. bad controllers. The aviation world operates on a check and balance system to try and mitigate the risk.

In this particular situation we will have to wait to see what actually happened. The missed approach procedure for the aircraft that went around was procedurally separated and NEVER should have turned to the right into departing traffic.

More than 1,600 environmental scientists, meteorologists, physicists, among other professionals, among whom there are many Nobel Prize winners, from the Global Clime Intelligent Group, sign a document that explains that there is NO CLIMATE EMERGENCY, much less caused by man. Resource that is currently used by Pooder groups and Globalist Organizations under their control such as the #UN, to impose changes in Laws and Regulations, such as the new Carbon Footprint laws that sacrifice many farm animals and burn entire crops in European countries. and Canada, Rules and Laws that only seek Political purposes and Social changes

Robert Steven Figueroa I would love to take Amtrak from Tulsa to Austin. In order to do so, I would have to go to Oklahoma City the night before so I could board first thing in the morning or get someone to leave here at 4 am to get there in time. then I would have to handle my own baggage. I would have to change trains in Ft Worth. Then do it all in reverse. It would take four days of my trip just getting to and from an Amtrak station. It would cost between $200 and $300 to do it. To fly from Tulsa to Austin I'd get the the airport an hour before departure, arrive in Austin in an hour, and the same in reverse. I would spend approximately a half a day getting to the plane, flying to Austin, and being on my way to my daughter's house. It would cost between $200 and $300. As nice as trains are, they are just not practical in areas of the country that are not densely populated.

Son of Hamas founder says mainstream media 'afraid' to label group a genocidal religious movement

The son of a Hamas founder said Hamas is even more dangerous than ISIS on Monday, claiming the mainstream media is afraid to call it a genocidal religious movement for fear of igniting a full-on religious war.

"It's their own comparison to say Hamas and ISIS because I think Hamas is a lot more dangerous," Mosab Hassan Yousef told "FOX & Friends."

"Look at the division and the global confusion because of Hamas. They brought us to our knees somehow by their brutality and their barbarism. Brutality is even understating Hamas' acts. Hamas is a religious movement, and they are a raging religious movement against Israel. The mainstream media cannot say this, because they are afraid to ignite a religious war. And what I say, it already is. They want to annihilate the Jewish people because they are Jewish people, because they are a Jewish state."

Yousef, who renounced the terrorist group and became an informant for Israel's internal security service Shin Bet in the 1990s, said Hamas couldn't be negotiated with since it wasn't a national or political movement.

Jon individuals with degrees in ATC are regularly not any better than off the street hires. There are two buckets of hiring. Individuals with real ATC experience and those with out real experience. Those who went to school and played the ATC video game are out in the same hiring bucket as those that didn’t go to school for ATC. The FAA hires are a 4 to 1 rate experienced controllers vs inexperienced controllers.

Also, guess what? Those “experienced” controllers fail the training program just like those that went to school or were hired off the street.

That article is written with a bias as an attempt to prioritize those who went to school for ATC as being better qualified. It is irrelevant since both an off the street hire or schooled individual have to go through the same initial and upgrade training.

At least know what you are talking about through experience rather than a sensational article.
