The British Government had given commitments to the Zionist Organization regarding the establishment of a Jewish national home in Palestine, for which Zionist leaders had pressed a claim of “historical connection” since their ancestors had lived in Palestine two thousand years earlier before dispersing in the Diaspora.
And when Britain couldn't handle the problem of Islamic outcry over that descion, they handed it over to the United Nations!
After investigating various alternatives, the United Nations proposed the partitioning of Palestine into two independent States, one Palestinian Arab and the other Jewish, with Jerusalem internationalized. The partition plan did not bring peace to Palestine, and the prevailing violence spread into a Middle East war halted only by United Nations action.

No one occupies Gaza since 2005. At 1948 when all the Arabs attacked Israel after Israel accepted the offer of state of Israel within 1948 borders , Israel dared to win the war and I am sorry to say but when you attack you may loose some land especially if you do not want peace and we constantly need to protect against the attacks of Gaza.
Israel has succeeded to create a beautiful country together with 2 million Arabs that have full rights and what did Palestinians do during that time beside a terror on Israel? Spending Europe money on terror?

I went out to my temporary neighbor’s house, looking for two tomatoes to silence Joseph’s hunger. I told him to close the door tightly until I returned, as his father was in the hospital doing his duty and no one could go except me. I went quickly and prayed to God to protect him for me.
I knocked on my neighbor's door several times, but no one answered, so I went to another neighbor's house, on the other side of the street, hoping to find two tomatoes for Youssef, as I hate to be away from him, but there is nothing edible in the house anymore. The seven days of war are more difficult than everything.
Then a big explosion sounded...
All I remember is that a black cloud obscured everything. I was temporarily deaf due to the force of the explosion, but one thing was on my mind: Is Youssef okay or not?
I ran into the street, struggling to catch my breath because of the dust and smoke. There was a huge crowd at the site of the bombing, and everyone was screaming and helping the paramedics to take the victims, as if it were the horrors of the resurrection.

I remembered Abu Youssef, who works there as a doctor. He had not returned home since the beginning of the war. I rode in the ambulance to the hospital. All I remember is the last moment before the car door closed. The door that I closed on Youssef no longer exists. I was afraid of the dangers of the earth with my innate maternal instinct, so I locked it. The door, how can a mother block the danger coming from the sky? Even fear in wars becomes different.
On the second floor of the Al-Shifa Complex, I encountered his father, in his green suit, exhausted from the days of war and the non-stop work. He had given his life to the people in fulfillment of his duty.
Youssef Youssef.. I did not say more than the name. He understood the reason for my presence here. People do not come to the hospital for walks..
The journey of searching for Youssef began. “Youssef is 7 years old, white and sweet.” This is how I used to repeat it to everyone I encountered, whether a doctor, a journalist, or an injured person. It didn’t matter. All I wanted was to know where Youssef was.
After several turns and searching several rooms, I became tired. My legs tried to lift me up, but my fear was heavier, so I collapsed on the nearest chair.
Leave me alone. I heard Abu Youssef saying it in pain. I jumped towards him screaming. Maybe it wasn’t him. I was trying, but it was his son and he knew him. A father makes no mistake in predicting his son’s future, so how about recognizing his features..
The mother’s affection told me, it was all over. I wanted a final moment of farewell, but they prevented me. They wanted me to keep his beautiful image in my mind, Youssef Al-Abydani with his curly hair, before the missiles disfigured him.
I don't know who I'm writing to, but my sadness as a mother is untranslatable, so how do I express it? How do I explain my years of patience to the arrival of Joseph? Joseph was the giving who compensated for my deprivation, so who can compensate for my deprivation from Joseph?
I raised him with love, I deprived myself to give to him, and I endured the pain and suffering so that he could live as a normal child like your children. I closed the door on him to protect him, so he and the door left. How can a mother protect her son in war..
I waited for Youssef at the door to return from school every day. How can I wait any longer when Youssef is no longer there?
