Joseph Sester our companies allowed to make as much of a profit as they want? Our companies allowed to set the price of their product beyond the ability for most Americans to buy it? The answer to both of these is yes as you can see with luxury goods where purses cost tens of thousands of dollars, those companies make profits off those purses but most Americans can't afford.
Walmart, Target, Exxon, and BP All had historic record high profit margins in the last 2 years. Which means that their profits were not affected by this supposed "inflation". They simply raised prices because that is how a true capitalist society works.

31,566 actually over a 14 day vacation. Per a day per park that would be 2,254. Then per average ride or show would take that down to 250 affected and at a rate of 32 at a time based on the average rides hourly capacity and the number of riders at a given turn……we are looking at probably more like 32 however based off the 7% Gallup poll of 2022…..looking at possibly 2 people everyday I visited Disney.

Now take that 2 by average of a 2 week vacation would bring it to 28 and multiply that by 40 would make the total over the span of my vacations 1,120. Now take that based on pews 2021 research only 53% are actually having issue…..

593 visitors like you would have been near me to ever have been offended over my the 40 vacations and breaking that down by day would be 1.05 rounded down……..we are looking at 1 person a day. Of course this is all based on the info I could gather from your public information.

Anthony English what is the point of taking a big risk and starting a business when the government is going to come in and tell you what you can pay yourself and what you will pay employees? You don’t see the unintended consequences? I’m more of afraid of a big government than I am a big business. You don’t see the potential corruption of government telling businesses what they can pay to whom? Check out how many retired Generals and Admirals are six figure paid consultants to the same companies they once bought supplies & weapons from with our tax money.

Mike Lee Limmer I don’t. By the time the government is through with me I’ve paid nearly 40% of my income to them in some form. State, Federal, local taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, school levies, hidden taxes, licenses, registrations, fees, environmental fees, etc. That is not what the point of America was supposed to be about. In fact, if the Founders somehow came alive today I believe they would be picking up their rifles.

Funny you mention Russia. Yes, the rich can and will move to Russia or elsewhere. Then you will be left with one less person pulling the cart. Eventually, just like in Soviet Russia, the cart will stop moving. Learn from history. You can eat the rich and successful in this country and feel full and satisfied with yourself today. Tomorrow…who will you eat next?

Joseph Sester Trump knew that there would be a price increase because of the COVID pandemic. If you look at all the economic forecasting done in 2020 it was already out there that our economy would have a massive adjustment.
Gas companies have made record high profits because of unfeathered capitalism which is supported by only one political party, the Republican party. You can blame inflation all you want but if a company was just managing inflation they wouldn't have posted record high profits. They were raising prices outside of the rate of inflation in order to make a bigger profit.

If they want to cut costs, maybe they should get out of the streaming business. That has never made money and costs have just increased as they tried to pump out new content for the service.... arguably with a decrease in quality.

Go back to licensing off media for other streaming services. If you want to produce new content, great. But make sure it is content worth viewing, and use pre-D+ distribution strategies.

Disney+ was certainly an understandable undertaking given the trends, but it seems to costs outweigh the benefits. Instead of their media distribution and licensing being a profit center, it is a cost.

The Tourism industry seems good, with the article reporting that parks and cruises both doing well.

If Disney keeping delivering good tourism experiences, and returns to generating good content, they can have a very positive future.
