3ºJulia Daigle-Davis gonna be truthfully honest....I was not a huge fan of the Jackie Chan / Jayden Smith 2010 reboot/version....I was hoping that Jackie Chan would toss in a tad bit of humor with his Mr.Han character, similar to what Pat Morita did with Miyagi in the original 1984 film....I ended up being disappointed on that end...! He seemed more serious and somber in tone! I felt it lacked that same spark in friendship that Daniel & Miyagi had....it lacked to me with Dre & Mr.Han ! Just didn't have that same heart,zeal and charm as the 84 film! Although I have liked the Cobra Kai show for the most part...I am kinda on the fence with the overall idea of the new film....as I found the 2010 version kinda mediocre!
4ºNo! No! No!... Stop rebooting or trying to bank on old movies. The old movies are good for a reason. There are so many good stories out there that I know of that could be made into movies that's not riding the coattails of older classics.... and I don't even read books but i know this. People have forgotten how to appreciate new and refreshing things. Everyone is riding the same bandwagon, copying what others are doing, and the people who are not doing that are getting punished for not doing so. I would rather watch classics in theaters. Show me the original Karate kid in theaters and make the tickets like $4 or something. I'll gladly watch that 4 times over a brand new movie that will cost me almost $20.
5ºThe modern human society, they are thinking that advancing. But māyā. It is not. You are not advancing. What advancement you have made? Your problem is, the primary problem is, eating, sleeping, mating and defending. Oh, that is not solved. Our problem is birth, death, old age and disease. And that is not solved. Then what nuisance you are doing in the name of progress? There is no progress. The real progress is to understand the laws of nature, how it is being conducted under the direction of the Supreme Lord. That is real progress.
We are wandering, life after life, in different species of life, different forms of life, in different planetary system. And that is going on. This is not progress. Where is progress? You are conditioned within this universe. Where is your progress?
If we actually want to make progress, then we must take to Kṛṣṇa consciousness so that after leaving this body there is no more coming down to accept a material body. That is real progress. Otherwise, there is no progress. It is simply wandering with a limited space. That is not progress at all. But because we are in illusion, we are thinking it is progress. It is not progress.
