Why is slavery such an uncomfortable topic for you?
Many of you are triggered by it, many of you go as far minimizing its impact on the success of this country and its legacy on blacks.
Many of you totally denied it altogether.

Many of you don’t want it to ne taught in school because you don’t want your children to feel guilty. Isn’t that what the push against Critical Race Theory all about?

Is it hard to accept such a shameful part of the country’s history? Or
Is it the idea of reparations that you makes you feel uncomfortable.

I’m simply trying to understand.
