The same economy that won WWII, built the interstate highway system and got the US to the moon. It was paid for by a top individual tax rate of 91% (47% effective rate) and corporate rate of 50%.
Reagan destroyed the economy with trickle down tax policies. He reduced the top tax rate to 27% without removing loopholes and the corporate rate to 21%. When he left office the debt had tripled and the Reagan-Bush recession began.
Clinton raised taxes on the rich. When he left office the budget was balanced and the economy growing. Bush reintroduced trickle down tax policies. When he left office the country was in the midst of the Great Bush Recession.

I don't support Trump and never have. However, polls support the truth that Biden has bungled the economy. Sure, he takes credit for workers coming into the workplace, (who were out of the workplace only because of COVID), but otherwise he has done little.
You cannot blame billionaires for creating and guiding businesses, for providing jobs, and making money off of it. Don't like it? Go work for your corner Progressive bookstore and see if those hipster limp-wrists can provide a living wage.
4ºShane Hess this isn’t about CNN, and because you chose to pivot instead of address my question to you, I can only assume you can’t deny or otherwise defend the truth about the year Musk’s companies had. But since your best move is to try and compare CNN’s year to Musks, I’ll play.
CNN’s profits were down during the first quarter but it appears they are still on track to show a decent profit thisnyear…hard to say for sure because they aren’t publicly traded. As to CNN’s cuts, they were primarily in 2022, and I don’t know that firing Don Lemon makes for as bad a year as blowing up two rockets and losing most of a company’s advertising income. CNN also got a new CEO in 2023 so its too early to measure his success, but their ratings rebounded a bit. I would assess that CNN had a mediocre year.
Now, back to the original topic…Musk’s year. Still really bad.

You clearly don't care about your freedom's if you think that of him. He invaded another country because He's afraid they don't need him and they don't. 6ºWell . Some products sucks ️️. For example the computer chip has reached its limit . So what smartphones will offer in later models ? No more faster chips ️but . It they can offer better applications and programs . Or innovative technology. Like wireless electrical appliances and musical instruments. I mean . Instead of having an electrical cord for every appliances and music instruments . Let’s have no more cords . No more cables on the floor . Maybe rechargeable batteries ?
Or what about having Apple apps from classical keyboards like Yamaha CS80 or from Moog or Roland keyboard software part of the sounds.
