When we apply these facts to your analogy, we see that Russia like Hamas was the aggressor/invader in this instance and Israel like Ukraine was the respondent. That Israel has had more success in its war with Hamas than Ukraine has had in its war with Russia, does not change those facts, but rather reflects the differences in the military capabilities of the various parties.

7ºDid you know Russia ended their major fighting campaign 18 months ago? The war isn't going on like we are being told. Russia got the land they wanted. It is where the seaport is, and where the majority of people are Russian. Now it is Ukraine still attacking, and Russia is just holding on to the land they believe was theirs; land and people that were disputed long before the Russian invasion. Good or bad really isn't up to us to decide. Do we want socialist Russia to keep the land or for communist Ukraine to get it back? And yes, Zelenskyy suspended elections to remain in power because he knows he would get voted out of office otherwise. Ukraine doesn't need more money, or equipment (except for democrat money-laundering). Russia never had an intent to conquer Ukraine or else they would have done so already.
