I'm interested what about yourself makes you so special and different from the rest of us. What gives you that big ego? You say this is a free country while also arguing that poor people shouldn't vote, that's a big double standard. You say "people like you" but you don't actually know me. So you're assuming a lot of things and casting a wide net. It's easy to compartmentalize everyone into little camps like you do. All the poor people over here are dumb and lazy and all the rich people over here are smart and proactive. But that's not actually how the world works. It's not that simple. Only a child should have such a surface level, shallow world view. The world isn't that black and white. You can't just throw a blanket over everyone and generalize things like that. It's something people do when they don't understand the intricacies of something and just want a quick answer. Your arguments just communicate to me that you're a person who thinks he's better than most and that everyone should think and be like you, and you think very low of people who don't think like you. You go as far as to suggest limiting opportunities like voting to those who don't meet your standards. I mean, what if i suggested that rich people shouldn't be allowed to vote because they're selfish and out of touch with the general public? That'd just be insane. I'd never want that even though I do agree that rich people sre often those things.
2ºCristofolo Vito Quidaciolu I just don't belive in disinfranchising people and limiting certain people's rights. I believe in equality and democracy. I'm sorry that is strange to you, but I believe your ideologies threaten to take people's rights away amd limit their opportunities. Which is not fair or ethical by my definitions. No one should have the right to decide who can vote and who can't. That opens up opportunities for dictatorships and elite members of society who control everything while those groups deemed unworthy by the dominant group are left to suffer with no means to better themselves or make change.
3ºA question to all those who support Trump: Would you hire an employee who is a crook, or an accused sexual pervert, or a criminal, or a tax fraudster, or a real estate fraudster, or one who doesn't play by the rules? I reckon your answer is a resounding 'No.'
With that said, Trump has no morals, ethics, civility, decency, integrity, and standards in the first place. Besides, he's an insurrectionist, tax fraudster, real estate fraudster, and sexual pervert. Those who support him need to review their morals, ethics, and standards. If not, they're tarred with the same brush.
The fact that the GOP presidential candidates are pandering to Trump without calling him out for his insurrection repulses me ad nauseam.
When it comes to politics, why do people throw their principles and values to the wind? Trump is a disgrace to humanity and a stumbling block to democracy.
It's time for Trump to do time. I hope the US Supreme Court disqualifies Trump in early February for his insurrection.
4ºIn 2023 the Doomsday Clock was reset to 90 seconds to midnight. To consider that Donald Trump might have his finger on the button again is terrifying. In a second term he would have no constraints. Never before has it been realistic to think a US President would fire first, until now. Even if he didn't, he hugely admires the man who very well might do. Vladimir Putin. Who Trump called "a very smart guy". Even the most right wing Republican should seriously consider that fact before voting. The last time I saw anyone as ill fitted for a job was the crazy Major in Dr Strangelove. And while all this happens the GOP stands by his every unhinged comment. No guardrails, no hope.

Wages are a negotiable rate between an employer and employee. Having value and producing gets you paid more money. What part of that has to do with our debate? Oh that’s right, taxpayers recognize that artificially raise the minimum wage raises the cost of living in a country where mismanagement has already been crushed by inflation. The fact, you do not understand this might be a reason why I don’t want people like you making financial decisions for me on my resources.
This is America. You are free to do what you want and earn you own way. Mandating wealth isn’t a thing. The sooner you stop believing that and invest in America values, the better you will be.

I do see you as someone playing into the hands of multi-billionairs and promoting inner-class warfare which only serves to benefit the ultra rich who just want to use you and get you to vote for tax breaks and keeping wages low so they can continue their unsustainable growth that will eventually deplete the world of its resources. The wealth gap in this country is bad enough and what you propose would just exacerbate the problem further. We need less discrimination and class warfare not more. We're all in the same boat. There's only a couple thousand billionaires in the world and you're not one of them so stop being their tool and start fighting for your own team. Unless you own capital and are your own boss then you're part of the working class like the rest of us.
