So umm this American /republican /Veteran /Christian doesn't go by political preferences in tools to get votes. Are you aware it was during Trumps presidency that Sen. Graham passed a bill to extend from a maximum 45 days in holding before deportation to indefinitely, this bill was made 2 weeks after him and other elected republicans bought millions in stock for facilities to hold illegals. Are you aware biden factually asked for money to fix border security like border patrol and homeland security and it was our republican elected members who all voted Nay!!! See both political parties profit off of illigals and immigrants, they don't want it permanently fixed, we tax payers are the ones wanting this fixed permanently and they simply in our political party use it to get your vote, how long have you heard the promises on housing Vietnam veterans, lower prescription cost for elderly, medical insurance all can afford? It's a political tool to get your vote and nothing will be solved permanently, if they didn't solve it in 80,40, 20, years will common sense should've said they won't.
2ºIt's very simple to solve this border crisis. 1st off) there has to a quota for the number of people from one country. Once we reach that number, no more can come in. 2nd) we need to know who these people are. Documents from their home country, background checks and health screenings for communicable diseases and mandatory vaccinations. Here in NY, immigrants aren't required to have the same vaccinations as citizens do to attend school. That is bs. 3rd) if you come in illegally, a mandatory 5 year ban before you can try to come in legally. 4th) if you have a criminal record in your home country you can't be let in. 5th) if you are let In and you commit a violent crime your deported. If you've met all those conditions, once you've been in the country for 5 years then you can apply to be a citizen.

6ºHeather Dyer your statistics are misleading.. of course statistically citizens are convicted in higher numbers, illegal immigrants are rarely convicted of anything.. they are deported.. it doesn't fall under the same classification. The truth is, we do not need foreign workers at all. The jobs you claim that only immigrants will do are consistently performed by citizens and the salaries are directly affected by the influx. I own a property maintenance company and do alot of tree work.. it's a real issue to have illegal foreign workers, going door to door offering services for drastically less than the market rate. It's ridiculous to make citizens jump through hoops to run a legitimate local business, just to allow illegal immigrants to ignore every law, every hurdle, avoid every tax, and devalue an industry... plus with modern equipment, we simply do not need the manual labor workforce we needed 20 years ago.

8ºThey complain about immigrants until there is nobody to tend the fields, pick crops, clean hotel rooms and dig ditches. We already saw that American citizens didn't want those jobs when Trump restricted immigrants before and the crops died in the field due to lack of workers. Our farmers suffered and had to get loans from the gov. Republicans in Congress refused to pass immigration reform bills because they don't want Biden to look good before an election. They want zero immigration when it comes to people of color, not legal immigration. They complain and accuse without doing anything to improve the situation. Immigration problems are not going to solved by a wall, or by sending them back or to others cities. The Republican will tell you a short sighted solution to everything that never solves the problem. Short sighted solutions for short sighted people. Funny how they never go after the 100 thousand immigrants that have come over from European countries and Australia that have overstayed their visas and thus are here illegally.
9ºDaniel DeVault term limits will not stop wasteful spending. Eliminating super pac and lobbying groups influence might help. Paying Congress the same as the military? Do you mean the Generals? The job is too time consuming, needs more skills, qualifIcations and education than the regular enlisted people and non commissioned officers in the military. As far as sending money overseas, it promotes allies that we need if/when the US is attacked and is an asset. We need to also solve issues here, but in a lot of cases, we can't solve anything because compromise seems to be a dirty word in Congress today. Politicians have tunnel vision to their own views, needs and power, not what the majority of Americans want.
