David Farrell did I say free? Nope don’t think I did, not even once. I’d like my taxes to pay for things that will actually better the place we live in. I’d like to live in a place where I don’t have to worry about going into crippling medical debt after getting shot at a supermarket. But unfortunately the number of people in power who actually want to help the American people is low compared to the amount of people in power whose allegiance is to their party and not the country. Case and point the recent Republican sponsored border bill that got killed by republicans because passing it could potentially make Biden look good, they can fuck all the way off with that attitude.

I voted for Joe because I’m not stupid enough to vote for a blatant narcissist who doesn’t give a shit about anyone other than himself. He’s said that if he gets back into office he’s going to use his power to dole out retribution. If that’s not corrupt as fuck idk what is.

But you can enjoy that red white and blue koolaid. All of what you said was spoken like a person who has never even considered another point of view than their own, and that makes me feel sad for you. Oh and by the way, some of the countries that have all of the things that I mentioned are Sweden, Finland, Germany, France, Iceland, and Norway. None of them are third world countries, and none of them are bankrupt. Finland has been considered the happiest country in the world for the last 6 years on based on things like healthy life expectancy, GDP per capita, social support, low corruption, and generosity in the community. Ignorance is bliss for you I suppose.

Terry Woody of course just like a hater to start throwing out insults. How about you seek help for your anger? The facts are, the bank approved the loan. I’m quite sure that even you can understand they wouldn’t approve the loan if the place isn’t worth it. “Stupid Trumpanzee”? Please tell me, since you’re apparently so much smarter than I am, 1) since when does a DA and Judge know more about the RE market than the Underwriters approving a loan? 2) since the Judge has admitted to not liking Trump, why didn’t he recluse himself? That’s the first part of the unethical behavior.

You don’t know me or what I know, so please don’t be prejudiced with your idiotic comments. Go vote for your senile POTUS that can’t be charged because he’s a feeble old man. Have a nice day.

Michael Rudiger - You can't bring a civil case without violation of law. Civil law and criminal law are two different things. I think you're the one who doesn't understand what went on here. And you can think it was politically motivated, but you simply have no proof that's the case. And if it were actually "frivolous" as you stated, the judge would have thrown it out. Judges throw out cases every day that are deemed "frivolous". Seems to me, this was not the case here. I get that you don't like it. But your feelings are irrelevant.

"A civil case is a private, non-criminal lawsuit, usually involving private property rights, including respecting rights stated under the Constitution or under federal or state law."

https://www.law.cornell.e...r%20state%20law.

Michael Rudiger - Oh that's right, there was no jury. I was thinking of the E. Jean Carroll case. I stand corrected on that. But regardless, the penalties are always based on a set of criteria on civil penalties which vary from state to state.

So you're saying that just because no one has ever been charged with this before, that no one should ever be charged with it? These are the only questions that matter. Is there a law against inflating the value of your property in the process of getting financing? Yes. Is that what Trump did? Yes, he even admitted it. Again...just because "everyone does it" does not mean it's not a crime.

I can't, for the life of me, figure out how Republicans were ever considered the party of "law and order". Seems like the new mantra for MAGAs is "laws are for thee, but not for me".

Robin Springer ok? So what if one random investor doesn’t want to invest there? Btw…you know why they have higher taxes? Because more people live there. More money is needed for infrastructure because more people live there. Why do more people live there? Because for years and years people moved there…..and guess what, it’s still that way. Despite all the horror stories of “cost of living”, California is still the most populous state and one of the largest economies in the world. NYC is still the cultural and innovative capital of the country. So again, don’t see your point. Even trump wants to do business in NY and CA, funny how he hasn’t closed any of his properties in either state lol.

Craig Stephens let me help you understand. I want to borrow money and use my home as collateral I tell the bank well my appraiser says it’s worth 400 thousand dollars, the bank then replies we will send our appraiser out, they come out, and I meet with the bank again and he tells me our appraiser says it worth 200 thousand and that’s what we will loan you, me okay sir where do I sign the papers. I get the money I pay it back with interest and on time it’s paid off. See how that works. Even someone with very little education can understand that.

Greg Force the bank was defrauded, and deprived of the true interest rate, for which they should have been paid on the loans. Thusly, the shareholders of the banks were deprived of profits that they would have received. More importantly, the competitors of maggot 45 were cheated, because he received an unfair advantage based upon his fraud. Lastly, the taxpayers of the state of New York were defrauded because they would have received greater tax yields.

However, the point of this action was that maggot 45 received $355 million in profits through his fraud to which he was not entitled. That is why he must repay the $355 million plus interest.

Terry Woody first I challenge you to prove any of that BS lie.

You idiots are all the same. Do you seriously think a bank relies solely on the customer’s statement of value ? You are clueless. Banks have professional appraisers that do that valuation to protect the banks ! This happens everyday in loan processing where a customer will list what they believe the value is and the bank does it’s own appraisal. The bank did NOT lose any money in interest !! How do you think these banks got this successful ? By found due diligence and unlike you knowing how to safely loan money ! NO he did not receive 355 million !!

You win the prize for the stupidest person in Facebook today !!

Ron Haag I have thought that Donald Trump was a narcissistic pathologically lying con man for about 40 years. No brainwashing just observing him and his actions. He stole from his own charity. You need to brush up on how New York state law works because you're wrong. And because of that you have no idea what you're talking about.
Sorry to burst your bubble but not everybody who doesn't suck up to Trump is corrupt. Just get out your checkbook and send a billionaire your donations cuz he's going to need them
from what I read it was his own lawyers that screwed him out of a jury trial cuz they couldn't fill out the paperwork correctly and request one

10ºTerry Woody BS. Answer the questions. You not doing so tells how cowardly you are because you know I’m correct. It’s not “what ifs”. It’s very clear. The corrupt DA and judge think they know more than the actual bank personnel that underwrote the loan which Trump paid along with interest on time. The comps on that same street go for a hell of a lot more than the DA is stating. If you can’t see that, I don’t know what to tell you. Kevin O’Leary explains the process very well in the video I posted. Open your eyes and stop your hatred.
