What a bunch of idiots.

These embryos are just that. Some cells.

They cannot become children, as they have not been fertilized.

SO THE ALABAMA SUPREME COURT IS STAFFED BY MORONS WHO FAILED BASIC BIOLOGY IN SCHOOL!!!

It takes two to tango, idiots.

An unfertilized egg has as much chance of developing into a fetus by itself as a molecule of dirt from the bottom of my shoe.

Federal judges at that level should be required to take a standard intelligence test before being allowed to serve on the bench.
Some of the judges in that court obviously would fail such a thing.

Jeff Swartz and again you are being so typical yt male...out of touch & without value.... this issue from abortions, to embryos is effecting the health & well being of women, birth control is next the agenda is laid out clearly in Project 2025 & the attacks are already taking place.... the border "invasion" yea Trump talking point notice how that dried up when the MAGA convey rolled out only to see no "invasion"...yes we need border enforcement but Republicans have stalled 3 yrs just so Trump has something viable to run on...which means they don't care drug epidemic nah idgaf about people buying & doing drugs why should I? Because it's mostly yt kids now? Where was this energy in the 80s when drugs were destroying minority communities...save your fake a** caring & yt tears for someone who believes you...I'm yt ..I know yalls schemes & lies...so you get NOWHERE with me

Chris Stevens That amendment and other States laws were enacted to chip away and overturn Roe vs Wade. Which the Mississippi law eventually did in 2022. And that law used strategy by the Alabama chief justice that presided over this opinion and invoked God in the decision.

And of course the facility should be held responsible for negligence. But to equate that to murder of children is an overreach with far reaching consequences. IVF is stopped now in that State because of this decision. You think that is fair to all of the families using or would use IVF?

And there was recourse for IVF incidents. The average settlement for medical malpractice was $200k per incident. In 2019, 150 Cleveland families settled after a freezer malfunction destroyed 4000 eggs and embryos. But, that was prior to Roe vs Wade being overturned. I guess now the freezer tech or Chief Hospital admin would be brought up on 4000 counts of manslaughter huh?

Sam Sebastianelli Jr. Women’s health is a pretty broad subject. You expect Trump to ban a woman’s access to Tylenol, Botox, breast augmentation, or Preparation H? Is that what’s worrying you? Or, are you concerned that he’s pro life? You’re concerned he may support an issue involving the deaths of more than 600,000 living human beings every year in this country? Can I assume you support strict controls on guns, which are involved in far fewer deaths. Unless you’ve convinced yourself that unborn babies either aren’t alive or aren’t human, I’d expect you to have some compassion for their deaths. It’s obvious Trump does and so do I.

It is far too late for former President Trump and the Republican party to attempt to appeal to the general electorate by backtracking on their harmful stance regarding women's reproductive rights. Their efforts to impose extreme limitations on abortions and restrict access to fertility treatments have already caused significant harm and eroded trust among voters. Women's reproductive rights are non-negotiable and essential for gender equality and bodily autonomy. Any attempts to reverse course on these critical issues are insincere and must be met with strong opposition. It is imperative to stand firm in protecting and advancing women's reproductive rights to ensure that all individuals have the freedom to make decisions about their bodies and healthcare without unnecessary barriers or interference.

Mark Robinson When Biden took over from President Trump, gas was 2.25. Inflation was 1.4 %. No wars in the Middle East or Ukraine. Food prices did not keep going higher each trip to the stores
Children were not being taken by school boards from their parents. China and NOKO were not threatening us. Spy balloons were not flying across America. Our cities were not filled with homeless and crime was not destroying business. The Southern Border was not open and Chinese Nationals a long with young men from Pakistan, Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador and others were not crossing our border. Fentanyl was not killing our citizens. I was a Democrat a very learning experience. I will never be a Socialist.

Keith Burgess I understand that you are expressing frustration with trying to have conversations with Trump supporters. However, it's important to approach these interactions with empathy and understanding, even if we disagree with their views. Painting all Trump supporters with a broad brush and assuming they are not capable of critical thinking or curiosity can be alienating and reinforce divisions. Instead, focus on respectful dialogue and actively listening to their perspectives. Encourage them to share their reasons for supporting Trump and engage in a fact-based discussion. Avoid assumptions and generalizations, and emphasize the importance of considering multiple sources and fact-checking. By fostering a more constructive exchange of ideas, we can work towards greater understanding and empathy.

Chris Stevens clearly you have absolutely NO clue or concept of the devastating effects of this ruling...1st off to be clear it wasn't women suing it was couples, 2nd the AL SC is a conservative old yt SC ...3rd the effects of this ruling has ALREADY caused several clinics in AL to STOP IVF treatments altogether more will follow.....1st they took away abortion access, now issues with IVF treatments, next is birth control & on & on....when I say old yt conservatives are literally waging war in women's reproductive rights it's undeniable & women are suffering already shame on men & the Republican party....do your research before being so gullible

/Alabama Chief Justice Tom Parker, who wrote the concurring opinion in last week’s explosive Alabama Supreme Court ruling that frozen embryos have the same rights as living children, recently appeared on a show hosted by self-anointed “prophet” and QAnon conspiracy theorist.
Parker was the featured guest on “Someone You Should Know,” hosted by Johnny Enlow, a Christian nationalist influencer and devoted supporter of former President Donald Trump. Over the course of an 11-minute interview, Parker articulated a theocratic worldview at odds with a functioning, pluralistic society.
“God created government,” he told Enlow, adding that it’s “heartbreaking” that “we have let it go into the possession of others.”
Media Matters, the liberal media watchdog group, was the first to report on Parker’s appearance on the program.
That a state’s chief Supreme Court justice would associate himself with Enlow is a cause for alarm. Enlow is a prolific conspiracy theorist, often weaving QAnon apocrypha with prophecies he claims to receive directly from God.
As reported by Right Wing Watch, Enlow has claimed that Trump “is on assignment” from God to work with the angels Michael and Gabriel to take down George Soros and Bill Gates, among others; he has claimed that Russian President Vladamir Putin is fighting “Luciferian pedophiles” in Ukraine, in a battle to stop them from deploying vaccines and 5G that would turn people into transhumanist semi-robots; and he has claimed that the majority of other world leaders are “satanic” pedophiles who “steal blood” and “do sacrifices.”/

10ºScott Nagel O yes and something else loon Scott Nagel would never grasp
Trump supporters won't read this but they should, for their own sakes and for Trump's.

Its impossible to talk with Trump supporters. There is very little thinking going on, little knowledge and no curiosity to find out.(1)
They cannot make concessions, the basis of discussion, intellectually just not capable of it. God knows we tried to help.
As such they ruin Trumps chances. The 49% independents whom Trump needs and who need to be convinced are just turned off. They think 'who wants to be associated with that lot', the gormless lot we all saw on J6th? (2)
When Trump inevitably fails again, Trump supporters logically should not think 'rigged' again or 'interference' and anyway it will be over. They should think 'it was my fault, I played no part in the debate.' But they don't think.

(1). Trump supporters refuse to read a wide range or sources such as by Allsides.com or reckon with the reliability of sources such adfontesmedia.com.
Anyway when confronted with facts from conservative sources such as Wall Street Journal they cry automatically, ridiculously "fake" or just ignore them as if they aren'there.

A fact such as the FBI agent being arrested for lying about Biden is suddenly ranked as not important, when media sources everywhere from ultra conservative to liberal all can be researched to find this is just not true. It was crucial to Republican claims. This is called confirmation bias or more popularly 'la la la la fingers in ears'.

(2). This is what is meant.

Just ask him or her to present a case for Trump.

"Although Trump... (something negative, nobody's perfect)......, Trump is best because..... ( something substantial, persuasive).......

We could. They can't.
