I left my husband at home and my teenage sons and I backpacked around SE Asia for two months. I knew the risks. Planned for every contingency I could think of including civil unrest and if the boys and I got separate. 4ºGordon Farhat I think this is political outrage that has never been directed at any administration before at least not I remember. I remember the outrage about Sudan last year. Americans have been warned for years to not travel there. A lot of those Americans were dual citizens and Sudan was there home. Same thing happened with Afghanistan that, unlike Sudan and Haiti, Americans had been warned and told to evacuate for months. Like those in Sudan, dual citizens or aid workers, that live there. Back in the day, the American was blamed, evan when unfairly because all hell broke loose unexpectedly, but never blamed the sitting president.
