1ºRich Sob -You can't credibly claim that the border is the most important issue, as Republicans have done repeatedly, and then refuse to pass a bill that has widespread bi-partisan support that would address the biggest issue they were complaining about. Their actions showed that it simply isn't that important of an issue to them. They'd rather not pass it as it might help the Democrats. Millions of illegals who are allowed to stay here because of asylum laws. Either the border is an important issue or it isn't. Those previous bills didn't have bi-partisan support and so nothing will get done, as Trump wishes.
2ºScott Spivak You really should do your own research and stop watching those propaganda channels. Biden opened the border on day one upon entering office. He signed executive orders that were in place that had organized and legal entrance into our country and remain in Mexico so there's no need to pass any bill! He can just use his pen to reinstate Trumps policy! By doing so he is allowing murderers, rapist, fentanol and who knows what else into our country, not to mention the 80,000 children that have gone missing to child trafficking. If you are so blind and can live with that, you are not only blind, you are evil!
3ºSince the law doesn’t matter, why make this news? I wonder if any of these people got a Texas bus ride to your cities and states. Article One, Section 8 of the Constitution states Congress creates Immigration Law. Democracy based upon Western Europe says, screw the Constitution and screw the law. If I am tracking, $1500 can get you across the border, and it’s easier now with the Democrat sponsored human trafficking scheme with the false asylum. So if there are some Arabs, and they are very suspicious, Texas police cannot act. I guess the police can show them to a bus, even ask them where they want to go.

This is what you said..."who in there right mind would back something that allows 5000 people to cross a day" This is what Politic fact says..."The Senate’s immigration bill gives the executive branch emergency authority to bar most migrants from seeking asylum if unauthorized immigration at the border reaches an average of 5,000 encounters a day during seven consecutive days. ..That does not mean that 5,000 people are allowed to illegally enter the U.S. " Do you not quite understand that "seeking asylum" isn't "allowing illegal immigrants in"? Our immigration policy has been outdated for years and it’s up to Congress to fix it but Republicans want the issue of immigration to be elected.
Do you believe that more money is needed to be allocated for more agents, Judges and new technology ?
Do you believe that these individuals who are fleeing their Country should have the right to come here or you don’t want them to be able to come here?
You do realize that America isn’t the only Country that is experiencing higher rates of immigration?

7ºWalter Rothe -You can blame democrats for not increasing security and for having a more lenient policy. Sure. Democrats opposed the wall which is expensive. But border security hasn't changed, so its a little dishonest to claim the border is wide open when nothing on the border changed as far as agents and security measures. The most pressing issue though, is the millions of asylum seekers who by law, must be allowed a hearing. Trump said it was a problem, and it is solidly republicans fault that they voted against doing anything about it merely because Trump now opposes addressing it. It's unforgiveable and blatant hypocrisy to now oppose what they railed about for years merely because they seek political gain.
