Emily Marciano there's a theory that there is a traveling serial killer who abducts young men usually 21 to 30 years of age when they leave the bar alone and intoxicated. They go missing for a few days then are usually found in a body of water typically a river or stream. This supposed serial killer got the name because usually near where the body is found a smiley face was found painted on something.

There have been countless situations around the US where young men go to the bar get wasted disappear and are found dead in a body of water. Happened here in Maine, New Jersey and other New England states. There have been similar cases in states in the Midwest as well.

Emma Campos Jimenez I understand that you are upset that there is attention being paid to a young white male’s disappearance. That doesn’t mean that it is not horribly painful for the family. As with any loss of a loved one, there is pain and my sympathies go out to you if you have suffered this loss.
What I am saying is that this is nothing new, just because a celebrity has his name attached to the story. I am saying that this has been happening for many years with nothing being resolved. A loss to a family is a loss and tragedy. When there is evidence of a serial crime, it MUST be investigated and coordinated between agencies.
