2ºMany people are eligible to get Ozempic through Medicare but they just don't know it. Millions of people are pre- diabetic but don't know it because they don't have any symptoms. Have your doctor to order lab work to see what your A1C level is. Many people have an A1C level of 5.7 or higher. If your A1C is 5.7 or higher you are pre- diabetic and Medicare must cover Ozempic if your doctor prescribes it. I didn't know l was pre- diabetic until my lab results came back. My doctor started me on Ozempic immediately and my charge is $0 every month. This article is inaccurate. Most pharmacies do not charge $989 for a month supply of Ozempic. It is more in the $1100 range if you are paying out of pocket for weight loss. Have your doctor find out what your A1C level is because you can get it at no charge if your level is 5.7 or above and a ton of people are at this level and don't even know it. You're welcome!
