I don’t have a view one way or another on this case, but I’m just curious as to how many so called “religious people” are advocating for his death. I ask this because in terms of religion, I bet many on this site don’t realize that you had some “so called” devout or Bible Belt Christian’s that use to either attend or take part in public lynchings during Jim Crow and slavery and some actually burned crosses on Black people lawns, (mainly the KKk) as they slept and then would go to church on Sundays to repent or ask for forgiveness, only to repeat their crimes the very next week. Or the very next day in some cases. Interesting isn’t it?

The people in Sodom and Gomorrah must have thought at first that they were seeing a fire show when God poured out His Wrath on them in fire and brimstone and I know the eclipse in America yesterday must've been wonderful to witness in person but it is so that what is also beautiful about God is that He doesn't leave evil unpunished and that His judgment will surely come upon the unbelieving unrepentant ones. And remember America's mascot is the eagle that which is high can come to a fall but that which is low can rise, now am I condemning anyone I don't have the right to do that but I know of a city called Nineveh they were just like America a land of opportunity the largest city in the world but today there's almost nothing left of it it's been brought to ruin and as individuals not just Americans we must learn birds know also that they must come to that which is low to find rest they can't stay up in the air forever they will get tired eventually and fall to their deaths so humility is key to staying close to God.

He did a terrible thing and according to GOD'S word he must pay his debt to mankind but also according to GOD'S word his Heavenly sin debt has already been paid by the same one who paid the sin debt of us all as long as we are willing to accept it. I pray he accepts it. I support the death penalty but I do not find any humor pleasure in seeing one of our fellow brethren being put to death for killing some of our other brethren. Anyone finding humor or pleasure in this all around tragedy is no better than the man being put to death and you need forgiveness just as bad as him. A true believer in CHRIST is praying for that man right now

In me trying to memorize bible verses it's like I was doing that mindlessly I wasn't really thinking who I'm trying to obey it's like I was just focused on what to obey and when you forget who you are obeying you can forget why you are even obeying God in the first place. So I've been corrected in focusing more on the spirit behind the law than on the letter of the law for the letter kills but the Spirit brings liberty and so when I look at a Bible verse to find who God is through that Bible verse it brings me to a place of being in awe of God and this brings us to a place of adoring God and of reverencing Him and of honoring Him because we find Him so beautiful when we find Him in the Word that reveals God to us and with time your revelation of God becomes better and better and it's once you know God better that you can do better.
