1ºMark Elder GOP primary voters had an opportunity to select someone like Haley, who has been a Republican a lot longer than him, who is more intelligent, less temperamental, younger, and able to run for two terms. Instead, they chose a morally bankrupt reality show clown who has never won the national popular vote, lost control of Congress, was the first president since Herbert Hoover in 1933 to leave office with fewer jobs for Americans, told tens of thousands of lies as president, culminating in the January 6th attempt to stop the peaceful transfer of power, resulting in loss of life.
Why? Because the party has devolved into a cult of personality, centered around a man, not policies. This was proven when the party didn't even vote on a platform at the 2020 convention.
