In the wake of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, more young adults in the US took pregnancy off the table entirely, new research has shown.

Morganbesser Dennis now you can say that those are a normal part of life and yes that was true up till around 2005-2008, like up to that point we had a cycle, 40s war, 50s prosperity, 60-70s had war and the gas crunch but then the 80s lightened up a little and the 90s till the early 00s were prosperous, then the war in iraq/Afghanistan, coupled with the housing market crash, then gas prices, rampant inflation, a pandemic and more inflation. We've had nearly a 20year span of things never really rebounding before another down turn and with the recent up tick in world wide fights it looks like we are headed towards another world conflict while inflation is still out of control and no sign of another prosperous time anytime soon.

Nathalie Hesnard she didn't refuse. She was trying to give me every reason as to why NOT to get a tubal at age 24. I commend her efforts. However, she realized I had thoughtfully made this decision and performed the surgery.
I question how "thoughtful" a person from age 18 to 30, who may not have had children already, have considered their decision to get sterilized. It's impossible to know exactly what you want at that age.
I've seen my son and his wife both flip flop in the past 5 years on starting a family. But had they spontaneously decided to sterilize themselves, they may have regretted it. Again, seeing how 1 day they're like "we're not having children" and then the next day saying "well.... maybe"

Leah Cox I'm an engineer for NATO who works in Hydrogen. I can clearly follow a medical journal and white papers easily available online to read. I'm not a Veterinarian but I know what a dog is. I'm not an astronaut but I know what a star is and it's exact chemical makeup just by it's color. Im not an artist but I know what an oil painting compared to an acrylic painting is and can tell you the chemical makeup of the acrylic paint.

That whole " medical degree" response played itself during COVID. Get some new material. Also worse, if you're a librarian and you can't even prove I'm wrong you probably dress drag during story time. Move on Leah, the adults are talking.

Facts:
1. Roe v. Wade was a landmark decision by the US Supreme Court in 1973 that legalized abortion nationwide.
2. The overturning of Roe v. Wade would mean that individual states would have the power to restrict or ban abortions.
3. The new research suggests that more young adults in the US are choosing to avoid pregnancy altogether due to the uncertainty surrounding the future of abortion rights.

Lesson:
The lesson we can learn from this statement is that policy decisions and changes in laws can have significant impacts on people's behavior and choices. The potential overturning of Roe v. Wade has created uncertainty and fear among young adults about their reproductive rights, leading them to make different decisions about their sexual health. It is crucial to consider the potential consequences of policy decisions and to prioritize the well-being and autonomy of individuals.
