Result is refugee camps in neighbouring countries - in 1967 Palestinians numbering 750.000 fled to Jordan and Syria. We have their children in Europe. They fled when the Syria war started. SO we the taxpayers in europe and the neighbouring countries are cleaning up after Israel time and time again. Israel was hoping to drive the Gazans south into the desert which belongs to Egypt. But Egypt refused to open the gates and let them through. So now the Gazan are being murdered and starved. Imagine holding you child and watching it starve to death???

Israel evacuated Gaza 18 years ago. It evacuated all IDF troops from the strip and all 10,000 Israrei settlers who lived there. Who wants that cursed piece of land? If it weren't for Hamas invasion, massacre, rapings and kidnappings, there weren't any IDF there.
All it takes to end this war is to release the hostages and the surrender of Hamas.
Gazan people should rebel against Hamas, give information about the location of the hostages. As long as they don't do it, they are cooperators of Hamas. They will return to their homes when war is over.
By the way, 200,000 Israelis have been evacuated from their homes and want to go back and can't.
