This case is 8 years old, and is considered a Misdemeanor, not to mention the statue of limitations expired...is this Special Treatment? Same here. That’s laying the groundwork for you to reject the jury’s ruling, because he might be found guilty.
About a million people in the area voted for Trump. Jury is 12 people, 6 alternates. Judges normally kind of challenge a candidate who says “I can’t be fair.” Not here. Merchan immediately dismissed anyone who claimed they couldn’t be fair.
Trump lawyers could then question candidates and throw out candidates about whom any bias could be found.
In addition Trump lawyers could toss out 10 candidates without having a reason.
It’s the same process for Trump as anyone gets (or slightly better).
Also notice — this is Trump’s home town. He has a reputation. In the civil fraud trial, Trump and dons brsgged about how much they have benefited the city! How wonderful their business is! All the jobs they create! They built the skyline!
Now in this trial, all of a sudden Trump “can’t get a fair trial because everyone unfairly hates me.”
It’s all just blowing smoke. It’s spin. It’s manipulation. I don’t know how Trumpers manage to flip the script 180 degrees like that. But I highly recommend don’t fall for it.

One aspect of Trumpusm I really hate is this constant brutal denigration of our great country.
Trump conditions his followers to think like there’s a giant light switch - he’s in charge all is brilliant and no problems are his responsibility. He’s not in charge and all is lost, blackness, carnage and horror.
It’s very weird and not realistic.
We got walloped in many ways with Covid pandemic. I think Trump failed miserably to lead, but that was a big challenge no matter the president.
Under Biden’s leadership we’ve bounced back to have the strongest economy in the world.
Inflation triggered by the pandemic continues, but wages for the least wealthy have risen more than the rate of inflation.
We are ori ducking oil and gas at an historic high rate.
Our retirement funds are looking darn good.
Biden achieved the infrastructure act Trump always tried for and failed. It was long overdue — a huge accomplishment.
We have vast potential as a nation, we’re innovative and resourceful and creative. Immigrants assimilate, wanting to join this success story, and contribute trillions to our GDP and tax coffers.

Democrats WANT an open border. The census every 10 years is used to determine each states congressional representation. Congressional representation is based on the number of people whether they are citizens or not. The more migrants, the higher the population and the additional migrants will more than make up for those who are leaving blue states like NY and CA. Blue states will increase their number of congressional districts, blue state legislators will draw those new districts to favor Democrats being elected, and states like NY and CA (and others) will have more congressmen in the House of Representatives. This is not hard to figure out.
