1ºThe University forget its charter - and worked against being an open inclusive environment for students to express their opinions and FREE SPEECH - which no side in any issue should presume would only be one sides views - and never permitting any opposing free speech. If Ukraine can be discussed anywhere and everywhere by all people in our nation - college campuses, public streets, anywhere - and war has been ongoing there for two years - Israel and Palestine can be openly talked about in our nation - on college campuses, on public streets, anywhere and everywhere in the USA and that does not threaten people. It critical for people to freely discuss all things. During the Vietnam War - my generations era - we were freely permitted to discuss anythere and everything it in as expressive a free speech ways and means as college kids and young adults and older Americans chose. It is not threatening to democracy to EXERCISE FREE SPEECH. It is threatening to a democracy to tell people ONLY CERTAIN issues or sides will be permitted. And special interests have a right to shut down all opposing viewpoints. YOU CANT DO THAT. Columbia University - any attempt to shut down free speech is WRONG.

8ºHelp, my sisters... We are from Syria in need of help. We were displaced from our homes because of the terrible war to the camps on the border between Syria and Turkey. You all know that the war is very difficult and that when the planes bomb us, they hit adults and children. Every Syrian family has a sad story and a difficult life due to lack of food, hunger and poverty. Most families have one or two martyrs. Most families are dispersed, and some of them are missing. But in the camps we also live our worst lives. Anyone who does not want to live as we live. I ask you to think about how difficult the situation we are living in is. Please help us to live and complete the rest of our lives well. And I recall the Viertnam era - and if you are too young to recall it - do your homework - every college campus across our nation dealt with free speech on its campuses that was passionate and determined and no one from college administrations were told to take sides or to tell one side - their views, their free speech had no place on a college campus in the USA.
