Leftists quickly finding out their freedoms only extend so far. You're allowed to play dissident and protest as long as what you're protesting aligns with the establishments ideology. Threaten the Jewish power structure and you hear folks like Jonathan Greenblatt from the ADL who was staunchly against using the national guard to break up BLM riots now vigorously advocates for bringing in the national guard to break up these protests. All our politicians are bought off w/Jewish money. We just passed billions of dollars to be sent to more foreign Wars for their benefit while domestically America crumbles into itself. The right wing protesters who have been imprisoned aren't in prison because they were Trump supporters they were imprisoned because it was to send a message to anyone on the right wing who dare oppose Zionism with Populism or Nationalism, and now Leftists are being sent a different but similar message that you too will fall in line or face the consequences.

@Julie Vortman Fenstermacher ... they are not "little" . They are thinking, feeling humanitarians unlike some hypocrites here who claim to be Christian yet showing off their true colours.
Read the entire chapter 23 of your gospel of Matthew to know what I am on about. "Woe to you hypocrites. For you tithe .... but have neglected the weightier matters of the law ; justice and mercy.... "
Jesus your leader was a revolutionary and overturned the tables of extortionist money lenders branding them as a brood of vipers. "You brood of vipers! How can you speak good when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" Matthew ch12 v 34-35

He stood up for justice and mercy not aggrandizing specialness racism and abhorrent genocide.

There is NOTHING PEACEFUL about these protests! A peaceful protest does NOT target a group of people to intimidate them and make them fear for their lives. It does NOT shut down roads, freeways and bridges that prevent police, fire and emergency vehicles to respond to life-threatening emergencies. A peaceful protest does NOT require the deployment of police or even National Guard troops to PROTECT innocent bystanders, targeted groups or other non-protesting citizens. And peaceful protesters would not condone members of their group who attack police or beat their heads with 5-gallon hard water jugs or anything else. Liberals have been allowed to go far beyond peaceful protests for far too long.

I would have thought protesting a genocide is something that colleges should support!
The charge of "antisemitism" is unfounded.
No jewish students have been sttacked or otherwise hurt.
Maybe if they are zionists, they might be a little offended, as we have seen from a crazed Shai Davidai, but such is the entitlement among some, that they consider their being offended trumps a genocide.

2.3 million people in #Gaza are "plausibly" being massacred, while the Gaza Strip is reduced to rubble, and Israel is stopping enough aid going in to prevent complete starvation of at least 1 million children.
We should all be protesting and demanding our governments listen.
I'm proud of these young people. They possess morality and the knowledge of the difference between right and wrong, with clarity, something their elders would do well to learn from.
I salute them.

Should be no negotiation, no deadlines. If they don't immediately comply, arrested, proscecuted and convicted. And of they repeate, which is the case for many at Columbia, repeate offender status.

Until far left, softnon crime big Blue cities and states start enforcing laws and holding violators accountable, it will only get worse.....which we are seeing the result of.

These protest are antisemitic, spewing hate, calling for violence, supporting terrorist, and for those chanting "we are hamas", hold them as terrorist, since they claim such!

This is not just Columbia as CNN is limiting coverage of, but Yale had hundredsnof arrest, Harvard is having issues, and half of the countries top 50 Universities are seeing this, and it's spreading.

And......more than 100 pro hamas protestors were arrested in front of Chuck Schumers house! Sure, when extremist protesters were showing up at GOP.politicians and SCOTUS Justices homes, Chuckie was silent......but now that hos home and he is the subject of protest......ARREST them all!!!! They hypocracy of the left playing out live for all to see.

Sam Bekker
What you think you know is cult brainwashing, not science or historical facts.

why 80-90% of Palestinians, Syrians, Lebanese, Jordanians and Saudi Arabians share the same DNA with ancient Levantines?

And why European Jews are genetically European?

If you know anything about geography, you will realize that there are no geographical borders between the Levant, iraq, Hijaz, najd, and Yemen. Arab tribes roamed this area.
Ancient Hebrew is not an ethnicity, it is an ancient Canaanite language which shares 93% of modern Arabic.
Your language is Yiddish, which is a Slavic-German language.
You are ethnically, geographically, and linguistically European.
Ancient Israelites were Arab Canaanite nomad tribes, not a separate ethnicity.
You are brainwashed with cult delusions as the case with your fellow middle age crusaders

Nandkishore Pandey please show me or inform me of an example of where he shows empathy for the Palestinian peoples ? Except when it was a mere facade to please voters and to cover the awful truth of his Zionistic leanings of death and destruction to anyone who stands in his path of warmongering greed. Why is he supporting ? Because he cares little about taking land by stealth then outright genocide against the most oppressed. Isn't that the history of America stealing the land from the local inhabitants in despicable ways not even 4 centuries ago?
That's not the mantra that belongs to the 21st century. In his head he is still living in medieval times and 2 millennia back of that. He's either seriously senile or he is blatantly beast. Take your pick.

Othman Abbas David Bloom There were no Israelis in 1948, and it took many years for most of the newly arrived immigrants to Palestine to think of themselves as Israelis. They spoke a multitude of languages, and they had to borrow from the local Arabic in reconstructing Hebrew. They shared no foods in common, so they made Palestinian hummus and falafels their own. They had no cities, so they created Biblical myths that tied them to the Palestinian cities they stole. They had no shared culture, because Israel is one of the most consciously fabricated nations in the world.

Is it any wonder that they require a Palestinian enemy in order to bolster their own fractious sense of national identity?

If some of the students protesting are foreign students, they ought to be deported for violations of university rules and regulations. They had better go back to Palestine and serve their country/state. This would apply to Jewish students too.

Students go to college to study, graduate, and secure good jobs. They should stay away from politics and war. If they still want to speak for their country at war, they had better go back and fight to save their homeland.

American citizen students ought to stay away protests too. Otherwise, they should be arrested. In the long run, they're going to have a criminal record, which will prevent them from getting good jobs, let alone building their career.

10ºRadomír Silber I think you failed to notice, but, uh.. how do I break this to you gently?

Gaza wasn't occupied on October 7th. Hamas doesn't represent the Palestinian government, which has disowned all actions taken by Hamas. The Palestinian Authority views Hamas' actions as blocking the final negotiation and establishment of a Palestinian State on mutually agreed-upon borders.

In fact your premise that Palestinians are under occupation is mistaken. There is territory on the West Bank that is disputed. The fate of those areas is to be a part of the negotiations Hamas is blocking. That is where the controversy of Israeli settlement exists.

But from Nablus to Bethlehem and the vast bulk of the West Bank, though, Israel doesn't carry out any administration of Palestinian Territories as an occupying power. Go to Nablus. You will not see an Israeli soldier patrolling the streets. Not a single one. They show up to raid locations used by Hamas (as does the Palestinian Authority, which views Hamas as an adversary), but Israelis don't patrol, occupy, or administer a thing there.

Nor would you have seen an Israeli soldier in Gaza before October 7th. There hasn't been an Israeli occupation in Gaza since 2005.

You can't have an occupation without an occupation. Your insistence there is one is 19 years out of date. There is dispute over boundaries, yes. But murdering 1200 civilians isn't how you conduct a negotiation to resolve those disputes.
