Steven M Jacksonall the rule states is u cant discriminate against pregnant women and if they need a medical procedure u need to accommodate. There is even a carve out for the red states that employers dont have to accommodate the abortion part if they claim religious exemption and prove their sincerely held view on it but that makes the company stand on business and could be bad pr and hurt recruiting women candidates if word gets out they deny accommodations for womens health issues. If the companies truly believe what they believe they should go on record so current and future employees no where they stand on the issue.

I'm a right to life guy, however there are a few things that a woman and her husband need to be able to discuss about their family and their well-being. The fact is, God loves women and wants them to have say over their health. I'm also positive that God loves the unborn baby equally. The thing that bothers me is that women can find themselves in the horrible position of being pregnant and the father is a slime bag. She knows that she can't take care of the baby alone and doesn't want the kind of life that the slime bag would provide for the baby. She probably doesn't even want the slime bag to know that she is pregnant. The easy answer is don't get pregnant, but when you are in the here and now that answer is already too late. I met one of those slime bags yesterday and it broke my heart for the pregnant girl. I'm still a right to life guy with compassion. The words we use when talking about abortion just aren't adequate. To talk about an abortion as if it's a right is repulsive.
Making the decision to abort a baby is as close as it can get to being a judge and pronouncing the death penalty upon someone. The difference is that there is no appeal. There are people who are so evil that the only way justice could be served would for them to give up their lives. That's a tough decision for a judge, and the same kind of pressure is put on a woman considering an abortion . I think the only person that can ultimately make the decision to abort a baby must be the mother because she is the only one that will bear the full burden and responsibility of that decision for the rest of her life.
