1ºLouise Johnson no, she shouldn't be thankful to Caitlin. Pay discrepancies between men and women have been an American issue for decades. For there to still be such a vast pay gap between NBA and WNBA with no signs of narrowing is unconscionable. The WNBA does not get the revenue the NBA gets, but that's because the marketing is not done at the same level to draw fans. The WNBA is a clear example of blatant sexism, just like what our American women's soccer team brought up a few years ago. The women are killing it and get no credit. Caitlin is a great player, but she IS NOT the messiah of women's basketball.
