1ºAs a Walmart employee, profits may be up, but this place shoots itself in the foot daily with its employee treatment. This company could double profits in a short period of they only gave employees better financial incentives- reward good employees with performance/attendance bonuses, and institute annual raises for each employee(again, based on performance). Constantly losing employees, constant hiring/training and employee apathy takes it toll. Treat your employees right and they will work harder, prevent waste, and save money.. I have never seen a corporation squander money so needlessly. And Walmart is my second job. My first is a good position with a fortune 500 firm that does all these things and employees happily work harder for the company as a result.
