1ºWhat a dumb thing to do! What do they think will come of violent and destructive actions, even for what they see as a noble reason? Occupying buildings? It's one thing when you protest to call attention to your supported issue, whatever that may be; it's another when it leads to violence, damage, and things of the sort. Short of appeasement (and we all know what happens when appeasement is enacted) which would not go well, all that is left is the forceful removal of these people from places where they don't belong. That means pain, injuries and risk of death if things really go bad, let alone significant property damage and disruption. And all you do is further polarize the sides, alienating even further the very people you supposedly are trying to persuade!
This is just ridiculous. While I am not happy with the whole mess in Gaza, I do not condone and have any empathy for students involved in this movement. They lost their bargaining power and hurt any efforts to help the very people they claim to want to help.

He literally ignored all peaceful protests in the beginning of this, continued to weaponize and financially aid Israel. And here we are! Also, it’s because they are learned, informed and have been taught to think critically that they are protesting. They haven’t been brainwashed like the average American to blindly accept whatever Israel wants to do. What is going on over there is genocide by Israel against the Palestinian people! The world needs to condemn what Israel is doing just like they condemned Hamas. Hamas killed a 100 or so Israelis. Israel has killed over 30,000 Palestinians and decimated their land, resources and healthcare system. This eye for an eye BS has gotten way out of hand! We cannot continue to support that!!

It’s one thing to protest peacefully for peace in the Middle East, or protest against Israel actions. But it’s entirely another thing to yell “from the river to the sea” or “I’m Hamas” or “death to America and Israel”.
You also can’t commit other crimes, otherwise it’s no longer a peaceful protest. Here are some examples of things that are NOT peaceful: Stealing and destroying flags or other property that you do not own, destruction of property such as statues, taking over buildings, hindering the free flow of travel, and obviously assault of any sorts.

What "state" did Israel occupy that existed before 1948?
How does the call "75 years of occupation" sit with the fact Israel did not control Gaza, WB and E Jerusalem before 1967 and with a two state solution?
What is the river and what is the sea in "From the river to the sea" and how does that coincide with a two state solution?
Explain how Israel has allegedly committed Genocide considering the fact Gaza population has risen from 80k in 1948 to 2.5m in 2024?
Prove intent for genocide considering the efforts Israel makes to avoid civilian casualties?
What is the average civilians killed to 1 terrorist in such conflicts and what is the ratio in this conflict?
According to Hamas, how many of the alleged 34k casualties are direct participants in the conflict (aka combatants)?
