If you really look into who killed the small family farms you’ll have to go back further. The allowance of mega farms and the monopolies on the meat packaging has way more to do with it. I’m sure you won’t believe me but Reagan actually vetoed a bill that would’ve saved the American small farm way of life. Instead he cut the taxes on corporations who then bought up all the family farms for Pennies and created the mega farms we know today. I’ll stop you right there. I’m not a lefty snowflake liberal blah blah I’m someone who actually researches things before I comment about them. I implore you to look into who the real culprit of the down fall to small farms. When your done with that see what the tariffs war on China did to our farmers in 2017-2021. It’s all there for anyone that looks.
