Lisa Trinemeyer You're wrong. There are a lot of black people in Russia. For example, my son studies at an institute named after Patrice Emery Lumumba. Now this institute is called the “Institute of Friendship of Peoples”.
I agree that there are not as many blacks in Russia as in the USA or some other European countries. But I can remind you what this is connected with... First of all, the USA, Britain and a number of other European countries used blacks as slaves. They were brought from Africa and then their next generation remained to live in these countries. That's why there are a lot of black people in the USA and Europe. There has never been slavery in Russia. Russia never created colonies, did not take away residents of other countries or continents and did not use them as slaves. People from Africa came to Russia to visit. Some started affairs and then left (leaving offspring), while others remained in Russia. In other words: for simple, natural life reasons.
In Russia, guests are always welcome (if not with a sword). Anyone can come to Russia. One obstacle: the United States and European countries may ban it. For this reason alone, there may be restrictions on entry into Russia.
