1ºI wish that everything wasn't agenda driven. There was a day when if it was on the news it was true. Anymore you have to question everything. Who is saying it? Why are they saying it? Is it coming from a conservative or a liberal source? Is it believe science and deny biology or the other way round? Are they students protesters or paid protesters? I was the guy that had to watch CNN every night because what they said was true. Now they suppress the truth and act like a tabloid. Is there really global warming or is it just nature? Why do scientists say that the universe is going through the same cycle? Does carbon dioxide (CO2) promote plant growth or stop it? Is there a God and a future or are we all just going to die? Why pay taxes if the government just uses our money to build bombs and kill innocent people and the evil politicians get rich? Personally I'm going forward with the idea that there is a God and blessing in our future because without that hope why even care.
2ºThis is like a canary in a coal mine. An increasingly dangerous warning. People forget that our survival requires a lot of other plant and animal species beneath us like a house of cards. If enough of those cards fall, our species won't make it. The planet will continue on. New creatures will evolve.
If we want to stick around, we need to address the causes of this issue. Which is largely us.
On a side note, the coal miners built canary cages that could be connected to oxygen tanks so that the birds survived. Should we care less about future generations of humans?
