1ºRamiro Valencia let’s not pretend that 2 Aussies and an American going off on their own into a remote part of Mexico isn’t risky. Both the U.S. and Canadian governments strongly advise against it for a reason. I’m not taking a shot at Mexico. I’m sure it’s a beautiful country with mostly wonderful people but it has some serious problems with crime and violence.
As for the USA, when I moved here for college I was told by my new roommates that I would be pretty safe if I went to the right out of my house, but that I could easily be robbed or worse if I went to the left. It wasn’t far from the truth and if 2 Aussies and an American went off on their own into the bad parts of the U.S. then I’d fear for their safety too.
