Trump has repeatedly gone after the Fed for what he considers to be tight monetary policy. The Fed hiked rates four times in 2018.

The current federal funds rate remained at 2.5 percent when the Federal Open Market Committee met on March 21, 2019. This benchmark rate is an indicator of the economy's health.

The Federal Reserve signaled it would keep rates at 2.5 percent through 2021

Two point five percent eh? While some store branded credit cards are charging as much as 29%.

Methinks our unfettered capitalist system is disadvantaging the consumer.

BTW. Why is it when our Fed Rate is so miniscule that we continue to have sub 3.5% growth? That needs to be examined.
