I cannot figure out where to ask this question of CNN and or all that might have the answer to this question, so will ask it here. Why has the U.S. Government not put a 'Complete freeze on all prices' of food, paper products and medications etc. to stop all the price gouging that is occurring across the nation. I have seen milk go from $3.49 gal to almost $6 a gal., Bread went from $1.89 a loaf to $5.49 a loaf, 2 pack of paper towels from $5.98 to $9.98. Found one bottle of generic aspirin prior cost $6.89 100 ct. to $12.49 for the same bottle. This is nothing but greed and our government is not stepping in. Threats don't do the job because those doing it DON'T CARE!! Make price gouging a Federal Felony with fines of up to $50,000 and/or 10 years in prison...then Enforce The Law!!!
