Lisa Liv I really wanted you to answer what you think the average mass shooting is. we both agree that something needs to be done. But the gun regulations you think is going to help will make the problem worse. Criminals never want to fight. They will always choose disarmed victims. The more famous mass shootings that you are aware of, the shooters always admit that. It's difficult to do but imagine you are a mass shooter. Think like a mass shooter. Are you going to choose the place where people can carry a firearm for defense or place where you know no one is armed? This is one example on why your regulations are hurting us.

Lowanda James , Gimme a break! If you actually read what I wrote I said those other nations gun homicide rates compared to us were PER CAPITA! That takes into account the differences in population. And those nations don't have the FREEDOM we have? Seriously? They have democratically elected governments, do they not? And if you think mass shootings only happen in inner cities, think again. Mass shootings happen in churches, movie theaters, shopping malls, grocery stores, schools and just walking down the street. And whatever happened to the freedom of feeling safe whenever you venture out in public? I'm afraid that freedom is long gone in this gun obsessive society.

Franklin Kraft I removed haha emoji on your reply to my comment and replaced it with an “angry” emoji. I am angry about your untrue and misleading reply about my comment about these occurrences of gun owners not adequately storing their guns and ammo resulting in tragic consequences . We need severe civil and criminal consequences for gun owners whose guns and ammo are not stored adequately enough to prevent these tragedies .You posted a misleading and untrue reply on this egregious situation . I did not want anyone seeing your reply to mistake it as being true so I put the only emoji I saw available that would indicate I refuted your reply .

Rick Anthony People protecting themselves with guns number in the millions per year. CDC did a study and never published it because it went against what they were trying to push. An estimated 3 million cases of Defensive Use of Gun a YEAR in the USA.

Now Defensive use of gun DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE TO FIRE IT. That is what most liberals dont understand. So now lets talk apples to apples in other countries.

CRIME. Violent Crime and robbery. You just want to cherry pick your gun data and "gun violence" but let us take a deeper look at violence in the USA compared to UK and Canada or Australia... about the same. YEP. Less guns do not mean less VIOLENCE. It means OTHER Violence.

You claimed you knew more about US history than me up above. Well I guarantee you that you dont know about crime statistics than I do.

Lisa Liv it's a pretty safe bet that your anti-gun when you say anti-gun stuff. And you got your head deep in the sand when you literally have no idea what laws are trying to be passed. Does it make sense to talk about something you know nothing about? You're just going to take a politician's (Democrat's) word about it? Who is that lady who wanted to ban a barrel shroud but when asked what a barrel shroud is, she admitted she had no idea what it was. You think there should be an extra tax on ammo to fund anti-gun organizations? You think your neighbor should be able to have your rights Stripped Away because they don't like you? Time and time again, you anti-gun folks have no idea what you're saying.

Franklin Kraft I see you have blocked me because perhaps you wanted your untrue reply to stand and my reply to you not be seen without me being able to refute your reply to my comment.

It is not mentioned in this article or any article that these gun owners are facing several felony charges as you stated that there were charges faced in your reply to my comment .

Franklin Kraft This is not mentioned in the article . I found no articles anywhere saying the gun owners are being charged here.
I follow up on many school shooting articles and articles where kids and household members and visitors get a hold of the gun owner’s guns. Very few are held civilly and criminally accountable . The only case of parents being charged I found in recent years among the multitude of shootings because of household members got a hold of the gun owners guns was this occurrence :

“Dec 4, 2021 — James and Jennifer Crumbley were each charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter on Friday.”

There is a huge lack of legal and criminal consequences and laws regarding gun owners guns and ammo not being locked adequately enough and people in the household getting a hold of their guns.

Lisa Liv "high powered weapons"? Like the AR-15? That shoots the 223/5.56? You mean the round that is banned in 1/5 of the country to shoot deer because it's not powerful enough to kill the deer humanely? Or the millions of hunters who don't want to use it because the deer runs too long after being shot because it's not lethal enough? And now you're insinuating because I like firearms that I'm a bad person? What would you use to defend your life if put in a horrible situation? Wasp spray? Lady, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You are a perfect example of what I say all the time. Anti-gunners have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.
