1ºNorthern North Dakotan here. It’s gonna be ok folks. Dress in layers, keep a blanket in the car, eat soup and drink coffee to warm yourself up. Keep your extremities covered when your outside and if you end up with frostbite somehow make sure you run the affected area with COLD water, not warm or hot as it will cause tissue damage.
Also, if you don’t live in an area that normally freezes hard make sure you open your facets just enough to keep water running through them to prevent them freezing and bursting the pipe.
I think that about covers it. Oh wait, if you get trapped outside in freezing weather it’ll make you very sleepy but you need to stay awake because if you sleep, you’ll die. Ok, that about covers it, Happy New Year!!
