The article acts like it's saving people from being scammed.
People purposely order replicas from China and they're probably already payed for. They get shipped in bulk and buyers are aware it COULD be confiscated by customs.
Why would people pay $2000 on a bag when you can get an insanely identical one for $200? Or a slightly off one for $40?
If it's available, they'll do it.
Protecting a brand is important but it's definitely focused in the wrong areas.
After watching a few investigations, you'll see most luxury brands manufacture cheap (also in China) these days and sell at extreme prices while destroying their own overstock to KEEP the price inaccessible to the majority.
If the dupes are being sold at nearly full price, then it's a scam.
Let people live and focus on the important crimes. Not being slaves to rescuing the luxury "exclusiveness".

Congratulations Thank You customs officers for doing a great service. Burn it all up, now big online companies need to shut down these fake, stolen, copied products being sold online. Including these major companies that’s copying our designs selling them for personal gain in their stores and online. Stop ripping me and other designer off became rich off our backsIt’s great to have an online store but sell real products.I wish custom’s could seize all of my designs that has been copied by 2 major Chain stores well know companies. It’s bad enough that some of these big companies are copying from smaller designers such as myself and trying to get away with it! Stay Tuned let me see if my story get posted. Now go after these major stores that stole my V Collection. They copied it during the pandemic making millions of dollars. I found out because of TV. Try waking up turning on your television seeing your designs flashing across networks Bravo,Own,YouTube it’s devastating. As far as fashion repeating itself ? As if we don't know the point of origin for these "knock-offs" that have flooded the mercado, low and high-end, legit and black market. But the upside of it, having one of these "imitable fakey ones" you can fool that you are so entitled having "the branded" when some ignorant or more political right word - unknowing and clueless people can ever see the difference. It takes some special skill to determine the knock-offs from theboriginals.. The IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) laws here are strictly implemented, the law has teeth for us a poor country. Had seen swamping of knock-offs during my active career days - they were seized and burned - like the seized misdeclared high-end luxury cars we rather bulldozed them to pieces than issue it to the public for use, deviating from the old norm of offering it for bid by then the "subasta" practice. Can take it?

The master copy replica and mirror copies are 80 to 90% as the real if you put a master or mirror fake beside the real you couldn't tell the difference. Only difference is paying $150-400 for the fake vs 5k to 10k for the real...Honestly the master is made in the same factory as the real.I believe these designers allow these master and mirrors to be made because there is no way people are paying $1500 -$15k a day nor every week on a bag .Plus they have to pay employees ,the stores ,lights , other things so please they allow the master ,and mirror copies to go through customs ,but the budget bags that look plastic gets seized

I have no problem with people buying fake, my problem is I buy my real bag for 3g and you ger yours for 3.99, you then post yours and hashtag the designer or write versace baby knowing darn well it isn't real. All these ig models wearing fake and pretending that they have a lit life..I know fakes when i see it, you can't trick me..the chanel bags with the logo not embedded in the fabric is fake, the versace dress that the green emerald is light green is fake, the lv bag that the pink is too bright is fake, the fendi top that fendi never made is fake. These girls will unbox their purchases pretending it's real..the Chinese got the packaging down to the T..The only thing is they can't keep up with the seasonal colors. Like I said I have no problem with you buying what you can afford..but hunny stop tagging the designer and acting like it's real. I care because the only reason I don't hashtag $FAKE is because I don't want to hurt your feelings
