Trump must’ve taken him to task. His book Should be on the fiction list because the things that he wrote he’s now coming out and saying that it wasn’t true. Just like people don’t believe the Trump had Covid during the Biden debate yes he did. Three days later he was being taken to Walter Reed Covid don’t affect you that quickly. He tried to blame the Goldstar families from infecting him know he was already Infected. Mark Meadows wrote all this in his book and then when Trump called him on the phone then he backtracked. They ain’t nobody can tell the truth.

Until the committee releases over 14,000 hours of video from the Jan. 6th incident, nobody should cooperate. Let the public see Rosanne Boyland being beaten to death by Capitol police. They then lied and said she’d died of a drug overdose. They lied about Officer Sicknick. They’re sending SWAT teams to people’s houses who never even stepped foot inside the Capitol. And yet they’re not arresting people who were clearly inciting violence and handing out weapons. We know why they’re not going after these people. They were provocateurs that were planted to start a riot and stop election fraud evidence from be presented on the Senate floor.

First phase -Trump went to court to throw out millions of votes in the swing states. Presented no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the election in any state. Lost every lawsuit.
Next, Trump directly asked the Justice Department 9 times to undermine the election result, threatened to replace DOJ's uncooperative leadership, and his chief of staff Mark Meadows broke administration policy by pressuring a Justice Department lawyer to investigate claims of election fraud.
Trump tried to use the Justice Department to announce election fraud investigations, ask state leaders in Georgia to appoint electors, disregarding the certified popular vote, and tell states to stop sending in their certified and required Electoral College vote totals, and then "leave the rest to me and the [Republican] Congressmen,"
When that failed --he turned the mob loose on the Capitol on January 6th to stop Congress from certification of the states’ certified Electoral College ballots confirming President-elect Biden's victory.
Bannon had conversations with Trump in the weeks leading up to Jan. 6 and held a meeting with Trump allies on Jan. 5 at the Willard Hotel. That day, Bannon said on his podcast that “all hell is going to break loose tomorrow.”

On January 6th, more than half the Republicans in Congress failed to act to protect the affirmation of the 2020 certified presidential election results of the states. Because Trump incited the insurrection, Trump was the ONLY person Kevin McCarthy contacted to call off the attack. Most Senate Republicans voted not to impeach Trump for inciting the insurrection, and voted against a bipartisan congressional commission to investigate the insurrection. McCarthy claims an "anonymous report" of no involvement by Trump in the January 6th insurrection is the last word, when in fact the claim is baseless according to executive branch agencies and congressional committees. All elements of the investigation continue to be pursued. McCarthy threatened tech and telecom firms that comply with Jan. 6 committee’s request for phone records.

Republicans leaders and cultists sow fear, uncertainty, and doubt to delegitimize the presidential election, but somehow do not question elections of down ballot Republicans in the same election.

If Trump lost the popular vote, the Republicans planned to emphasize the Electoral College.
If he lost the Electoral College, they would promote spurious claims of election fraud and support challenges to the electors in Republican-controlled statehouses.

Republican leaders and Trump millennialists seem terrified of the potential of voters when all voters matter and count equally.
They hope for scenarios where they can lose by millions of votes and still win the Electoral College.
Now we need to support professional election officials and candidates and lawmakers who support voting rights and respect election results, and guarantee the presidency to the candidate who wins the most popular votes in the country, by making every vote in every state matter and count equally, by supporting the National Popular Vote bill and state legislators in states with the 75 more electoral votes needed to enact it.
Most Americans think it is wrong that the candidate with the most national popular votes can lose.
The sheer magnitude of the national popular vote number, compared to individual state vote totals, is much more robust against “pure insanity,” deception, manipulation, and sometimes crimes.
If as few as 11,000 voters in Arizona (11 electors), 12,000 in Georgia (16), and 22,000 in Wisconsin (10) had not voted for Biden, or partisan officials did not certify the actual counts -- Trump would have won despite Biden's nationwide lead of more than 7 million.
The Electoral College would have tied 269-269.
Congress, with only 1 vote per state, would have decided the election, regardless of the popular vote in any state or throughout the country.
It’s because of current state-by-state statewide winner-take-all laws for Electoral College votes, not mentioned, much less endorsed, in the Constitution.
In 2016, Trump became President even though Clinton won the national popular vote by 2,868,518 votes.
Trump won the Presidency because he won Michigan by 11,000 votes, Wisconsin by 23,000 votes, and Pennsylvania by 44,000 votes.
Each of these 78,000 votes was 36 times more important than Clinton's nationwide lead of 2,868,518 votes.
537 popular votes won Florida and the White House for Bush in 2000, despite Gore's lead of 537,179 (1,000 times more) popular votes nationwide.
The National Popular Vote bill is states with 270+ electoral votes agreeing to award their electoral votes to the winner of the most national popular votes, by simply again changing their state’s law.
All votes would be valued equally in presidential elections, no matter where voters live.
Before states began enacting new voter suppression and election subversion laws, the system with 2020 election laws, meant that the 2024 winning candidate “may need a national popular vote win of 5 percentage points or more in order to squeak out an electoral college victory.
