I think he should be forgiven. He plead guilty to the charges. The only wrong thing he did was post his feelings and opinion on Facebook. But he didn’t let himself be used by Trump and DT Jr for their own propaganda against President Biden. In fact, he Rebuked them!
Many people were critical of the situation in Afghanistan. And feel it should have been handled differently. I kind of agree but you don’t have much to go on when our Military is in a foreign country that is now under Taliban rule. It was an unwinnable war and unfortunately, the Middle East is filled with Terrorists and Haters of our Country. That war already cost way too many casualties! And cost about 2 Trillion in military, equipment, and training. And the Afghan military refused to defend themselves. We can’t be the World’s security service!

He was right, Biden and his generals botched everything and too zero responsibility !!! Pray for our Americans left behind, Biden has put them in grave danger !!! IMPEACH Biden & his staff plus generals must resign. 13 DEAD US service members, & 18 injured. He has armed the Taliban with BILLIONS of US high tech military equipment making them stronger than ever. Obama/Biden failed as they pulled out of Iraq, again did not listen to generals. Never left behind status of forces. Seems to me they cant get anything right ! Trump went in and defeated Obama's JV team as Obama called them. Benghazi was also Obama/Biden with the same failed people as staff. Biden brought over the same clowns that are responsible for this. Susan Rice, Ron Klain, Jake Sullivan, Anthony Blinkin, Burns & The kicker "circle Back" Jen Psaki !!! All star line up of failures & hacks. Absolutely disgusting! This man has also lost his Military Pension after all those years of service and sacrifice. Why? Because some people and bureaucracies believe themselves as "to big to fail" and ignore the wisdom and honor in acknowledging mistakes or ineptitude. And they fail to learn anything from those mistakes because they are not held accountable putting us all in harms way!
Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller desired some accountability from his leadership in the wake of a disastrous exit from Afghanistan that lead to the death of 13 of his fellow service members. In his 17 years in the Corps he did five deployments and earned multiple senior awards including a Bronze Star, Army Commendation with “V” for Valor, 3 Meritorious Service Medals, 3 Navy Commendations. Oh, and he is not a Trumper BTW!

Biden and his generals withdrawal from Afghanistan was a total failure. They withdrew troops prior to removing American citizens, Afghans who helped us And didn’t remove all destroy all our equipment. Than the drone strike killed 10 civilians (7 children) not ISIS-K terrorists. We loss 10+ military members to a suicide bomber. What this LtCol stated was true but he shouldn’t have done that in his uniform and office. Having spent 29 years in the military I know how he feels serving under incompetent senior officers and incompetent commander-in-chief. He should get an article 15, relieved from command, get a desk job and allowed to retire. He serve his country with honor putting his life on the line for 17+ years. Only 1% of the country serves in the military.

No! Military mission ever goes according to plans. Especially! When Trump engaged in the unconditional release of the prisoners over the course of 12 years were jailed as terrorists. Unless oneself has been in hostile environment of War or known Terrorists Organizations, when President Obama wanted to withdraw the military presence in both Afghanistan and Iraq, it was the Majority of both political parties of Republicans, saying No! America must continue to train these countries built up military more like keeping the interests of selling weapons in the region. In this case when Trump was gloating about the withdrawal deal's in Afghanistan, face it for it wasn't with our side by side Afghanistan Allies for we now know they weren't invited for discussion after our withdrawal agreements under Donald John Trump! During the Cold War Era, agreement of 1983 it still took several years later as our Readiness Military in throughout Europe received it military closure orders, until Chain of Command of our Nato Alliance take charge, in 1992.

Let’s get real here folks We should have never been in Afghanistan in the first place It was another Vietnam I don’t blame those families that lost love ones over there for being upset but trump was the one that negotiated with the Taliban and didn’t include the Afghan government so he was turning it back over to them That’s whateveryone should be mad about THE GREAT NEGOTIATOR HA!
Trump could have withdrawn the troops himself and if he would have done a better job as he said he could it would have been feather in his cap but I’m going to agree with representative Kinzinger in that he set Biden up

For those who may feel sympathy for this fool; it just illustrates your ignorance of the military. I’ve heard; how could the military do this to one of it’s own? Just know this individual is getting EXACTLY WHAT HE DESERVES!
His parents going on Fox News might help shape public opinion but in addition to local, state, and federal laws, the military operates under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) and other codes of conduct.
Unlike Ken or Karen who works for an oil company or the local bank; Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller is a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corp.
He’s rightfully paying the price for his terrible decisions and abject stupidity.

If he had have gone through chain if command, it probably would have just been ignored like how the military ignores sexual assault victims until something more violent happens to them. He should not receive a dishonorable discharge. It makes me upset that some veterans are left without proper care or treatment. This leads to depression, worsening PTSD and even suicide. This man simply wanted accountability to exist in this situation. He is not a traitor, he is a hero. He spoke up not because of hate, but because of love for his fellow Marines and his country. He should not be treated like he betrayed this country, because he did not betray it.

He should have resigned and then spoken out. He had the right to speak out, but he’s now facing the consequences. He’s doing the honorable thing to plead “guilty”!
The debacle in Afghanistan started with Trump. He’s not the “stable genius” he claims to be…and his “fanboys” need to wake up and realize that they’re literally worshiping a demigod! Many..not all of his policies were correct,…but he’s a self aggrandizing sociopath and set the stage for stabbing our Afghan ally in the back. Remember how he threw the Kurds under the bus? I do.
Biden took a bad situation and his weakness made it worse!

This man knew the protocol as an officer & just because he 'lost' it over something he disagreed with does not exempt him from the consequences. This is not a case of Billy Bob-regular-worker trashing a military operation but an irrational military officer who should KNOW better. He could've resigned his position & gave the military a verbal lashing!!
He already said he would renounce his retirement so why is his atty asking to keep it? Putting his family in an unstable predicament with his illogical actions!
The swamp, where values, ethics & morality don't exist, has already donated to his GFM to support his family.
