You know what? I back the blue and I do not backCNN NEWS.
Half the time we don't know how much propaganda the mainstream media is putting in to attack police officers and try to cause another Riot somewhere in our country. There is some bad police officers no doubt about it. But what the mainstream media does is that look for absolute black people that gets mistreated instead of anybody else that could be getting mistreated as well. Because they want the startup friction they want another Riot it's good for the ratings and it goes with their narrative about dividing America.

Very sad how he was pulled out. I don’t understand why he refused to get out of the car on his own power. The fact that he can drive the car alone shows he can get in and out on his own. The rest of the story is just as sad since he was observed leaving a drug house and a police dog detected drugs in the car and over $22,000.00 dollars cash with drug residue was found in the car.
Floyd and Ahmad Arbery were truly crimes against those people. This paraplegic man had broken the law and refused to obey police officer requests to comply at the traffic stop.

As sad as it is. The guy should of simply let the officers help him out of the car. Also the officers should have called for the supervisor. Still there is no reason the guy couldn’t of worked with the officers and let them help him out.

With that being said officers when making a stop or going on to a scene. They Never know what they could be getting into. The guy could have been lying about his condition (he wasn’t! but the officers DO NOT know that) some people will do and say anything to try and get out of a ticket or to not get arrested! Officers never know who, when or what someone will do.

Lived in the city of Dayton for years.. with a African American man ..who was on parole ..and we lived on the West side high crime ..everyone carries a gun it's dangerous ..The police are not bad at all ..my guy was stopped a few times he was always cooperative and showed ID ..he was cut slack by DPD a few times because he was cooperative ..This guy is known for his activities.. He didn't have the wheel chair for that very reason.. he was hot and where he was is a hot area and he was using his disability to get over wrong cops this time ... Dayton is well represented by African Americans in city Government and law enforcement courts strong civil rights background . Believe the police with body cam don't want to purposely seriously hurt someone and deal with all that drama He knows who he is and what he does hope he can look his self in the mirror after this These are the same police who saved lives by immediately responding and killing a guy who did a mass shooting in Dayton in the Oregon district lots of bars and restaurants and heavy crowds and foot traffic they saved many lives that night putting themselves in the line of fire. Killing a crazy murderer.. stop hyping this story it's not right

Ok, im willing to meet the back the blue folks midway, and say not all these stops and bad interactions are about race. But can we agree that we have a problem with police attitude in this country? Part of the bigger problem is officers on a power trip demanding folks "respect their authority". Their job is to investigate cases of wrongdoing, and protect people and property from imminent threats, and detain or apprehend suspects(granted unfortunately we make them do a lot more). They can do those jobs in a professional manner. This encounter went sideways the minute the guy asked to speak with a supervisor. Why the hell is that even a problem? Folks in so many other jobs ask to speak to a supervisor all the time, if there was no imminent threat to anyone, why was it a problem here. Were the potential drugs gonna magically disintegrate if they waited 15 minutes? Folks like to talk about the constitution, well here is one, our founding fathers in the first congress under the current constitution grappled big time with the idea of raising a standing army. They had just went through shays rebellion, and saw the need for one, but feared it could be used against the citizenry as an occupying force. While our military and military leadership have done an excellent job of allaying the founding fathers fears, de facto, there was a big work around, the police. Between their tactics and training, to their weapons, uniforms, organizational structure, to general lack of knowledge at times of laws and the rule of law, the police have become the occupying force that our founding fathers feared.

This happened to a friend of mine years ago who is a quadriplegic. He was driving a car specifically outfitted to accommodate his disability. It was obvious from just looking at the steering wheel. Cops pulled him over for a traffic violation (failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign), ordered him to get out of his car and he explained he could not due to his disability. They then claimed he must've had drugs since he refused to exit the vehicle. He asked them to write him a ticket but they kept insisting he get out of the vehicle and he kept explaining why he couldn't. They forcefully pulled him out, slamming him on the ground and breaking one of his legs in the process. As he is paralyzed from the chest down he could not feel the break in his leg. They made him lie on the street while they searched his car and told him he was faking his disability. They found nothing. They then arrested him for resisting and some other such nonsense. When they couldn't get him to stand up they finally realized something was wrong with the situation and called an ambulance who came and assessed him and off he went to hospital where he had to have immediate surgery. He spent the next 6 weeks there and underwent 2 more surgeries. A lawsuit was filed. It got delayed for years and then dismissed. The officers got away with desk duty for a month.

Now this is a tough spot. The man is leaving a known drug house. The police did not know the man. He could be lying to get them in close enough to hurt or kill them a tactic often used by criminals to get away, so they didn't give him the chance to attack. On the other hand, he wasn't resisting he was stating he couldn't comply due to his medical condition. At this point the officers had to make a choice, unfortunately they made the wrong choice this time. More situational and body language training needed to correct this issue. A full investigation needs to be conducted and these officers need to be disciplined and retrained if found to be in the wrong. Again after watching, there seems no reason for them to have needed to rip him out of the car, except that it sounded like he called his friends to come to the scene to film, but I thought he was calling a lawyer or other police type agency. Stuck between a rock and a hard place. At least skin color racism doesn't seem part of this, but I am sure it will be twisted into another racial event by the media and governmental officials.
