Its a sad and tragic loss. As a parent could never imagine how it feels. And can only imagine the kind of pain that these parents and families feel. But as a law abiding gun owner i also look at it and see that the gun is not the root cause of these tragedies. And taking guns away or severely retricting them only slaps a band aid on a bullet wound that is the current state of America and how people are treated and raised. All these mass showers all have common problems aside from the tool they decided to use to carry out their horrific acts of violence. Being bullied, mental health, and they way theybwere raised are all common things that these shooters seem to have. So maybe the big change that needs to happen is as a society not banning or restricting the tool that was used. Take away the gun they can make bombs, use knives, vehicles, ect.... the list goes on and on. the massacres won't stop if guns are taken. Theybwill continue in one way or another until something changes with our society.

Jayme Lynne I said none of that, and didn't blame guns. I blame gun enthusiasts, who are an affront to the Constitution. Virtue signaling? Nope. Vice signaling. I no longer assume people who seek to keep guns in the hands of dangerous people to be law abiding. Instead, I believe them to calculate that maintaining a certain level of danger assists their interests. Dispute over efficacy of various background check strategies or red flags is fair game. Treating every regulation as gun confiscation is a lie, and suggests the person doing it is operating in bad faith. So why should we assume people scared they have red flags to be law abiding? I assume most of them to be domestic abusers or worse.

Crystal Timmings … not if we become proactive…see something say something. I’m not saying some gun laws couldn’t be improved….BUT anti gun activists want nothing to do with additional solutions! It’s the typical scenario of the average democrat…OUR WAY ONLY - ANY OTHER IDEAS, VIEWS OR THOUGHTS ARE NOT GOING TO BE CONSIDERED! Crystal, if you look at my posts on this thread, they are logical, and address a very legitimate aspect of these shootings…..idiots reacted with laughter emojis….that’s sick! Guns have been around along time….lately we are seeing a drastic increase in shootings….it’s not gun laws that are changing…PEOPLE and THEIR MENTALITY is changing and deteriorating….mental health MUST BE ADDRESSED as well as a method to keep the mentally I’ll from accessing firearms so easily……..<< cue the liberal laughter>>

When I was a kid in the 80s and beginning of the 90s kids would get killed in schools or right out of school by guns knives where there’s tuff gun laws applied you name it and many weren’t even reported in the mainstream media, the problem does lie with weapons or mentally unbalanced children, it lies within bad Parenting bad teachers Materialistic law over us etc etc. The ones who claim authority over us are casting there agendas into reality. Look deeper there’s always another story behind the false reality “Tell a vision” provides my friend !!! False reality is Politician aka Magician game !!!

Kym Allen There are many schools that are locking the doors due to past infractions.There are regulations that one must check in at the main office.This keeps those who have bad intentions from entering schools.Look what happened in Uvalde,a door was open!Children are allowed in their buildings to go to where they need to go.Doors are opened at lunch time and recess,and monitored.After school parents wait for the children outside.Those that get buses are escorted to the buses.All is monitored.This is what has become a reality in our country.Safety is the environment.Do You have school-aged children?Think about what has occurred in school shootings,and the precautions that must be put in place.

Tanya Whittington Sisson omg! I didn’t know about the husband. He literally died from a broken heart. I just can’t. I can’t even look at my own kid without crying because of the world he has to grow up and live in. Our childhood was nothing like this. Hell, we roamed the street until the lights came on and there was no way for our parents to call us or track us with an app. It was ok though, nothing to really worry about. Could you imagine letting your kids out nowadays and not having a way to contact them or them contact you. Hell no.

SOMETHING IN TEXAS JUST DOESN'T ADD UP: So, the story is that an unemployed 18 year old cross dresser living with his grandmother had 2 BRAND NEW Daniel Defense AR15 rifles, worth almost $5000, plus ammo, plus optics.
Add to that a $70,000 F250 pickup and body armor.
Seems like he may have had some help??
I know these Rifles are hard to come by and a favorite of the Feds!
Things that make you go "hmmmmm"....
Add to that, the fact, that law enforcement on the scene, spent 40mn outside of the school before going in to apprehend this guy! Wtf!
